R.I.P....Mark

I know there are ER fans here...just got done watching..rest in peace Mark...you will be missed. :-((

OMG, for a minute there I thought you were talking about the mark from Ireland! LOL! Kenny and I watched the last episode, too ~ got lots of tears from me and put a big lump in Kenny's throat. I wish they would have had Doug and Carol there. And his daughter! Didn't you just want to slap her?! ;-)

Sniff! Sniff! The show was so good and sad last night. Everything worked well together (the breeze blowing through the house, the dreams, the daughter finding and releasing the baloon, etc.) Wasn't that baby so adorable?

I quit watching a couple of months ago, when someone said Mark would die in May. All of the characters I especially liked are now gone, and I think the show is going downhill. I didn't want to see the part where Mark was terminal. Thanks for posting, as I will probably never tune in again.

egads...I too thought it was "our" Mark.

I still love the show, it's always good quality. Hate that so many of the greats are gone, but it's easier to focus on the storylines now, for me at least. could never follow much when George Clooney was on the screen:) except his eyes of course!!

Oh, don't get me started! At his worst, he was wonderful. I forgave his shallow way with women, even! If I looked like the female equivalent of George, I would probably have treated men as badly. And that mouth...

Can you believe I fell asleep about 9:45! O I was soo mad when I woke up at 12:15 I guess it was the meds I took for my bad cold :( I wonder if they will replay it anytime soon? be my luck it will be locked in a vault somewhere never to be seen again!! LOL

I cried like a baby. Have to say that now my favorite will have to be Noah Wiley. Isn't he about the only regular left?

I did watch ER, haven't watched in a while, this one was sad. I kept waiting for the daughter to say "I love you" to her dad.

Me one to one, I don't get my cable until tomorrow so I have missed alot on my shows the last couple of weeks.

I am a die hard ER fan, but have to say there is no one left to reaaly carry the show the way Doug and Mark did.

Carter, Abby and Susan just won't be able to do it, I am sorry to say. I don't like this story line with Carrie and mister @#$% head bald doctor just needs to go I can't stand him and never will.

Mike, my sentiments exactly. I know every show now has to do a token gay segment, and whatever other popular causes there are, but enough already, I don't care about going to their bedrooms or out barhopping with them. I like ER to stay in the county hospital and be less like a soap opera. Carrie and baldy boy stress me. (And, btw, has anyone ever seen the chrome dome with a female or male romantic interest? What is his story, never mind!) Abby frustrates me. Noah Wylie just doesn't quite measure up to his role. The Austrian or whatever, Kovach?, seems to have been a good candidate but the writers missed it. And Susan is another one who slipped through and didn't quite happen. I think they need new blood in the writing department. They are committing suicide if they stay on the present course. Will someone tell me if it improves?

I think the bald guy had a girlfriend in one segment. Wasn't she all dressed up and they were going to a party or something?

Yes, Cala, I remember that one, too. It was the episode where the girl-doctor student (who was later stabbed with Carter and killed) got emotionally involved in a heart-transplant patient. The girl-dr. student went to chrome-dome's house and told him she'd found a heart and he needed to come do the surgery, his Christmas holiday be darned. He came to the door in his pajamas or something and there was a female in the background, right? I know he showed up at the hospital and did the surgery.

Aimee, I totally agree ~ if they don't infuse some new blood in the writing dept., they will go on being a so-so drama instead of a kick-butt drama like they used to be. If it gets better, I'll let you know. :-)

It's coming along! Two things slowed me down ~ had to spend fundage on new ranch fence and Mom's friends who she said could move in up there on my highway property last year and sell their stuff didn't want to move out. But they are almost gone and the fence will be done in 60 days, so we'll be able to clean up the property, build and open soon! I can't wait! Three years in the making ~ first year dreaming, second year practicing and supposed to be third year doing it, but maybe I'm supposed to practice some more? God knows why it didn't happen this spring ~ there's a reason and I'll find it out soon enough. :-) I'll let you know as soon as I get it open ~ oh, you bet I'll be postig pics here, too!! LOLOL! And I think I'll post some coupons, too ~ like "100% off all plants for Dave's Garden members". *grin*

I have been without all my shows for so long that I have a lot of catching up to do.

I got my cable installed today, Yeah TV. Didn't know how muched I missed it until it was gone. Kind of like when the puter goes out. God forbid.
