Have a concern about my Fritalleria (Crown Imperials) - they were jumping out of the ground for a while, but for the past 10 days or so, they have done nothing, no bigger, no smaller, no tall stems or signs of flowers. Last year they bloomed on April 22 and still nothing this year. They are green and healthy looking, anyone have a clue why they may have suddenly become stunted???????
SOS
Has your weather been colder for the past week or so? Or cloudy and overcast?
No as a matter of fact it has been unseasonably warm, some rain and some sun. Do you think they will be okay or just stay put and never bloom?
mine have done the same this year. infact they are dying down already.
Mark
what do you think has happened mark, they were so fine last year! We had some unusual weather 90 during the day and frost at night, although I did cover them.
