Editing the title of threads...??

Dave,
Is there any way possible that you could fix the "editing" on the threads so that if we see that we screwed up in spelling we could go back and edit the title of it?? I mean not change the title completely but just fix the spelling. I just posted a thread on GD and I wanted it to say "WHO all does this" and instead I put "How all does this" so you can see that one really needs fixing! Is there anyway to do that? or can you do that for me??

Hi Mollybee,

At one time I considered allowing people to change the titles of their threads, but decided against it. The reason: I didn't want it to become a common occurance to change the title, which would confuse the members who are watching threads and recognize certain threads based on the title.

However, when a thread does need changing, the best way to get it changed is to click on "Contact Us" at the bottom, and make the request there. That way, either Vols, Trish, or myself will get it taken care of very quickly.
