Just heard that, following the Foot and Mouth episode in this country last year, the government are considering banning gardeners from making their own compost from household waste (cauliflower stumps, teabags etc) in case the countryside becomes reinfected!!!!! Or alternatively issueing licences to gardeners who swear to abide by certain rules of composting!!!!!

Big brother's breathing down our necks with a vengeance.

Can only hope it's a spoof hoax, but won't bank on it......
