Need help with pictures

I am a new subscriber to Dave's Garden and am enjoying the info I am finding very much. However, I am not able to access any of the photos - the photo box only contains a little red x - any suggestions?

aggiesmom, I am not sure, but I think it has something to do with your browser....at times that happens to me. I know someone else will answer you that will be more helpful. Welcome to DG!

Hey there aggiesmom - fancy meetin' you here! (I'm grinning because I know aggiesmom. In fact, SHE can vouch that Edens_Gardener is my mom, and she really does live and breathe, I didn't make her up, LOL.) Back to your problem at hand; I think justmelisa's right - it's a browser thing. What browser are you using? Gardenwife or someone around here can wave their magic wand and get you up and running in no time!

Hate to show my ignorance but I am not sure I know what browser I am using - I am currently using AOL as my internet carrier; us folks in small town Oklahoma have very few options. And yes, Edens_Gardner really does exist!! We have been friends with them and go_vols for a very long time and shared lots of gardening and cooking tips between us. Thanks for your help - sure I will get better at this as I go along.

Someone else had this problem and I found the thread about it. Might want to read this and see if it might pertain to your computer as well. Just hoping this is the problem.

ag.mom, you are doing better than I was...It was months (and I do mean months) before I had the guts to ask dave what a browser was :-).He was trying to explain something about browsers to me-- So hows that for showing ignorance..lol

Brugie - Thanks ever so much for the link. I turned my firewall off and presto - I have pictures!!!! Now if I can just remember to turn it off when I log onto DG. Thanks everyone for your help!
