Perhaps if we felt this way about one another, in general, we'd have a much better world to live in (see lyrics below). I know some of you don't get involved in religion, and that's fine...but this song still has meaning nonetheless. I can see teenagers (and adults as well) across the country finding themselves totally worthless because of what the world has told them or led them to believe. How you look, where you live, how much money you have or don't have, what you drive, the clothes you wear...none of that matters. Imagine the creator of everything we know to exist and more that we don't see having a personal interest in you and caring for you...you can't help but relax and feel an overwhelming sense of peace. Even if you don't believe in God, know that there are human beings that care dearly about you. I may sound bitter now and then in some of my posts, but that's just me venting now and then. We all have more worth than you will ever know...so smile :) ...and smile big :D

"Fingerprints Of God"
i can see the tears filling your eyes
and i know where they're coming from
they're coming from a heart that's broken in two
by what you don't see
the person in the mirror
doesn't look like the magazine
oh but when i look at you it's clear to me that
i can see the fingerprints of god
when i look at you
i can see the fingerprints of god
and i know it's true
you're a masterpiece
that all creation quietly applauds
and you're covered with the fingerprints of god
never has there been and never again
will there be another you
fashioned by god's hand
and perfectly planned
to be just who you are
and what he's been creating
since the first beat of your heart
is a living breathing priceless work of art and
just look at you
you're a wonder in the making
oh and god's not through no
in fact he's just getting started and
You're worth
this is one of my very favorite songs. I sing it to my granddaughters.
Kinda makes feel all warm and fuzzy, huh? :)
he wrote it while shopping for school clothes with his 13 yr old daughter. can you imagine what it would be like to have a dad like that? can you imagine the difference it could make in your (my) life?
Yes, that would be nice to have a dad like that. She's a lucky girl.
