This is interesting stuff, and could save some lives. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced recalls of dangerous products; they call it the "recall round-up"

Consumer Product Safety Commission's Recall Round-Up
Thanx GW!
Thanks, GW. I need to order a new lock for my Lane cedar chest. I have no idea those locks had caused deaths of children!
I know Granny. My son and I were discussing this the other day. I have one my Mom gave me when I was young...around 40 years ago...:*)
My son, now 28, told me that he always thought it would be a neat place to hide but I always had a lamp on it and it has always been filled to the rim with clothes.
I feel lucky!
When we were driving into Columbus last week, someone had an old refrigerator by the side of the road for trash pick-up. The door wasn't removed from it. I should have stopped and advised the guy to remove the door, or at least turn the thing over so the door was on the bottom; kids can close themselves in them, especially if they're the old ones which had a latch.
I believe I posted something like this a long way back now. It sure doesn't hurt to be reminded though - the more times, the better I say!! Kimberley, you're right about the fridge!! I have heard of children being locked in!! Doesn't bear thinking about!!
