I was hoping to get to bed early and rise early and hit the garden early. temp here today was 92 and same expected tomorrow. but at this point doesn't look like that will happen

That is too hot for daytime gardening! When I lived in Bakersfield years ago I did everything in the garden at night to stay out of the heat!

I don't think I'll see 92 degrees for a long while yet. It's raining cats and dogs right now, and they say it will turn to snow by morning. Ugg!

We had slushy rain today. If it got to 92 here the redwood trees would wilt!

92 is really unusal for april but hopefully by the weekend spring will return. i have so much to do in the yard and garden before summer really gets here.

Hi, everybody: It's about 10:20pm here in Alaska, and I often visit with the night owls! It's hard to imagine all that heat, while we still have 2 feet of snow on the ground. It is beginning to melt away, but there will still be spots here and there in late May.

well at least we did get the a/c fixed for the bedroom. we live in a trailer and they can be ovens in the heat and freezers in the cold. everything outside is growing so fast. i have already cut the grass twice.

well i am going back to bed now and try one more time to get to sleep. some nights i just can't get comfortable. the nerve damage in my legs really pays off at night. my sleepy time tea ususally helps me to relax. goodnight everyone.
