"Dorlene"...similar to "Darlene" 'cept her momma's accent made someone spell it wrong. The Paula part came from her momma's hero, Paul Lynde. And of course, the Day part...that spunky sexy funny exhuberant Doris Day.

Way, Morph! I couldn't believe it either! I was using the DG search for all the ones JoanJ guessed so maybe I could figure it out, found the thread at that link above, then came back to crow about it and she'd already let that durn cat out of the bag!!!
