I've got my fingers crossed, thumbs crossed, toes crossed, legs crossed ~ heck, even got my eyes crossed! Tell that doctor he needs to hurry up and take that cast off ~ this is beginning to hurt. ;-)

lol Wingnut!! The cast must have come off because she's not posting and she's out doing what she said - playing!!

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

Keeping my fingers crossed too. I've been in a cast, and it's such a good feeling to finally get it off.

Keeping my toes crossed, your garden awaits!!!!!!

Well the fiberglass cast came off. Now I have a walking cast boot looking thing. Can't actually walk on it yet. Supposed to gradually over 10 days start. and i have to do foot exercises. And it looks awful. Black- Purple hairy LOL
But this thing at least I can take off to bathe and to exercise it. So it's better I suppose, I go back to the Doctor in 3 weeks and at that time he told me to bring a shoe to wear home. So I guess it will be a bit longer. but this is more comfrotable and I'll gradually get the movement back. But with a plate and 6 screws I don't know if it will be 100%. Keep praying for me! But you can bet once this rain here is done I will be outside piddling with things! I have seeds to plant I am sure my daughter will help. But it's not the same. thank you all for everything! i know i will be in a good mood when that R & R of Mike's gets here!

One step at a time!! You're on the way to frolicking in the dirt like the rest of us. Happy Day!!

Spicewood, TX(Zone 8b)

Yep, you're on your way! That's a real bummer that it's not all the way off, but atleast it almost is!!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

So glad it is getting better.

I was outside yesterday and brought out a stool to scoot around on and thinned out one huge bed and planted alot of seeds. Actually I have along one side of house done and planted and the huge one and a smaller one done. Now i have another 12 foot round one and 3 smaller ones to do. wanted to do a small veg/herb garden. May have to wait till fall to get it started. but it's looking good around here and it was so relaxing to play in the dirt! Good therapy for anyone I think! Better than a shrink LOL

No kidding Snowbird! And cheaper, too! Glad to hear that you're taking it easy. ;-)

Temuco, Chile(Zone 9b)

Just keep it easy and do look after yourself, take care around the garden and massage the leg with dear old olive oil, get a little bottle in the supermarket ( the chemist will have it , but it may be dear) if you could, buy the extra virgen one , full with antioxidant that will be absorved by the skin and will bring back a healthy skin to your leg, help blood circulation to the leg and increase the speed of the healing process.
Wishing you a full recovery,

cristina
