The pictures on DG's newsletter are changing my routine

Is anyone else like me? I used to turn on my computer, check my email, read my newsletter and then spend some time answering email. Now I log on, read my newsletter, click on the picture and go immediately to DG. After that I usually wander around the garden for ages and say phooy on answering email this morning!

lol Elena tsk!! tsk!! Such bad habits!!!! :-) I'm the same except I do answer cries for help mail first, as I did this morning. Then it's DG!!

I don't know about ya'll...I love seeing them pics but didn't know I was gonna hafta stare at myself in the face the last couple days!!! (sheesh..kinda scarey!)

Hey, Shoe - that photo looks really familiar. Are you sure you aren't one of them Soggy Bottom Boys from 'O Brother Where Art Thou'? Sure coulda fooled me!

I had the same problem so now I make myself wait until I have finishe the rest of the mail to open the newsletter.
And Shoe, a famous person like yourself should expect to see his face in the paper!

That's right, Shoe. You post a picture of yourself, you should expect to see that photo appear in the newsletter. :-)

Dave really owes it to the new members to post his famous celosia on the newsletter. Not for me, I printed it out before the new printer pooped out, hmmmmmmmm, now let me think....

Well, it's in the archives. Just hit my member page, look at the threads I started. It's in the photos forum with subject of "Love lies bleeding".

Maybe I'll make it the pic of the day one day, but it's not my custom to go way back in time for a pic of the day.

LOL DAVE! You just started doing a pic of the day and you already have established "customs"!

Actually, I think it should be up at the top of the home page, sort of like the photos of columnists at the top of their columns. New members wouldn't know to go looking for it, and since it is a classic, I would hate for them to miss it. The first time I saw it, I laughed so hard I literally almost fell off my chair. And I would go back to it any time I felt bad or depressed. I credit it with a significant portion of the good healing laughing I was advised to do. That expression is priceless.
