I Met Horseshoe!!!!!!!

Hey Horseshoe - I beat you to the post!!!! I had the extreme pleasure of meeting 'shoe today. He invited me over for a couple of sassafrass trees and a lovely visit. I was only too happy to oblige him. What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. He gave me the grand tour and I met everyone on the homestead. We took pictures in the greenhouse - and I'll let him post the pics and introduce his wife. Then on the way out - I was gifted with a dozen fresh eggs - now that's what I call hospitality!!!!!

Howdy folks!
Today I met my first DG family member in the flesh. Our new member, Swoznick, lives a couple towns away and stopped by on her way home from work. Trust me folks, there’s more to her than she’s been letting on!
She came by for some dug up sassafras (which I did a terrible job diggin up…those root systems are a terror and chances are slim they will make it).
I didn’t realize we gabbed for almost two hrs, we had a lot to talk about and time seemed to go fast! Plus she met DW, DD, and Hazel and RosieJane (the last to being our 4-legged family members) and all of us pretty much wagged our tails when we met her! (Now ya’ll behave out there…I really did my best to appear normal!)
Ummm...cala...the pics are still in the camera! I was protecting ya'll from them...I was hesitant to let ya'll know I married "Cousin It"!
And by the way...Swoznick is supposed to post her famous recipe in the recipe forum, so ya'll best be watching out!!! (I know I will!)

Swoznick...you're just going to have to come to Round Up so the rest of us can meet you!!! We are going to have the BEST time!!! Ya'll come!! Jo

I think it would be a most interesting visit with you both, hope you make it to the round-up. Shoe - I really thought you and Calla had met and were buddies! Time really does fly when any of us get together! We all try to out talk each other - just get nervous & giddy I guess.

All I can say is you lucky girl Swoznick!! Shoe had a great time with you too judging by his posts!!
