Dori,

If I can figure out what I have in my trunk, I might be able to send you some irises for postage. I think that's what I picked up out of someone's yard this morning. Just need a picture of the base (rhizome) to be sure. They were just thrown out with the trash. I will go back by there this afternoon and see what else I can scavenge. :)

I really need to let my eyes focus before I jump into the forums in the morning! I thought the caption said Irish Lover and then the first thread about bidding on Ebay really got my attention! tiG's talking about not paying him too much for the first transaction made me think this was an after the first April fool joke...it wasn't until Smiln32
mentioned rizomes that it clicked that it was IRIS not Irish! ROFLOL! What a difference an H on the end makes!

Ok, just received confirmation from a fellow church ember who is also a landscaper (interesting that he came into the church office today). They are irises.

Dori, if you get outbid (and I hope you do based on the feedback), I'll send you a bunch of rhizomes for postage. I just love spreading around God's bounty. :)
