Calloway Gardens apologies!!!

First of all I hope you all got back home safely! I wanted to apologize for my rude exit...as you know we had to leave to pick up grandson from school by 3:00.(children always come first)and we didn't have time to make it back to the dome...and I am really sorry!

When we went to lunch and met Pj and her friends, they were almost thru eating and we put in our order and somehow it must have gotten lost for we sit there for about 45 mins waiting for our food and when we finally got the food and finished it was time to leave for it is a long drive just to get out of the gardens and just made it to pick up grandson from school...

Gosh the time just seemed to fly by...

I enjoyed meeting everyone and you all were so nice and friendly and look forward to another meeting one day!

PJ, I was not in the least disappointed and you are a very pleasant person and Barbara was a hoot! My girls laughed all the way home at at the way you and she friendly bickered at each other!

Tig...glad to meet you too and Emily, she was so sweet except when you took her shoe that she was nawing on the shoestring...maybe one day we could meet at PJ's and get to know each other...that would be nice! Send me your address and I will mail the water plants to you...don't worry about the brug!

Dee...I'm so sorry you were delayed and we met briefly and we didn't have time to visit...maybe one day we'll get together again!

Next time we go to CG I wiil pack everyone a lunch!

you don't owe apologies, I hope someone has told you that Dee and I couldn't find a way into the restaurant without paying that $12 gate fee. I'm kinda glad now after hearing your story, but we didn't realize how late it was either. I'm so sorry we didn't get to spend more time together.
Dee has your brugs, she's about 15 minutes from you and PJ has her number for y'all to maybe get together tomorrow. Don't worry about the others, or maybe we can meet at PJ's sometime this spring. But I really wanted to spend more time getting to know you, the plants were a side thing:)
I hope you had a good time, I sure did!!! Got some cool plants I'd been wanting at the sale, and PJ brought me a whole boxful!!
I wanted to bring Dee's daughter home with me, she's such a darling!! And little Billy took Emily under his wing and taught her all about the playground! it was such a great day. Dee and I have so much in common, the more we talked the more we had similar!!
PJ, I really enjoyed meeting your friends, and getting to see you again!! hoping you have a swap or something this spring to get us all together again:)

Tig...girl you email me your address...I could see the obsession (like me)in your eyes for plants...did you see the water plants there and that giant paparus, she wanted 50 bucks for that thing...ouch! I paid 50 bucks for one of my koi and hubby almost croaked...he would have had a heart attack if I brought home a $50 plant! LOL

I'll call PJ tomorrow and get Dee's number and maybe we can meet...Thanks and if you don't send me your address I'll get it from someone else! That is a promise!

who me?? obsessed???? just cause I took the grocery money to a plant sale??? nah......... that's just good common sense, right?? LOL!!! I didnt' see that giant papyrus, wish I'd seen it, not that I'd have bought it!! I hope your girls had a good time!
