Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

Im going to be crying! =( Good bye Mark!~~~~~~~~~~~~

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

OK why are you going to be crying ? do I need to get the kleenex box out? Sniffle of empathy...and Good bye Mark? I sniffle, don't know why we are crying but no one should be sad alone...

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

Zany I would think you are crying alone now since Dori must surely be in bed at this ungodly hour. It's only nuts like you and me that are awake!! Hey, you want to cry!! Ok I'm game!! Wahhhh....sniff, sniff!!! Maybe someone from her favourite soap has just passed away!!! Is that right Dori?????

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

Waahhh! Sniffle, whimper Whaaahhh! I don't know what we are cryin about but if she is leaving us or if mark is leaving us I'll be cryin for real! WAAAHHHH!

As for being nuts....I am a macadamea!

ER has a doctor named Mark, the one married to the English lady doctor Elizabeth. I quit watching when I learned that he will die in May, apparently from a brain tumor. They have a very young baby girl, and I just can't watch the events leading up to his death and their final separation. I rarely watch tv, and one reason is that about the time I find a show I like, the powers that be take out what I liked about it. With George Clooney and his "girlfriend" and their twins gone, and then Peter, another doctor, left, and now Mark, I just don't like the show anymore. Now, CRY!!! I gave you a reason.

I went into bed early to watch it and fell asleep before it even came on. Missed the whole show.........Rats.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

it was an excellent show. I cried, then cried harder, then was sobbing. Not just because of Mark, it was just a tough show for me to watch for a couple of reasons. Well done, and my eyes are puffy this morning from crying.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Oh no.........Waaaaaah. We've not watched ER in ages, since Elizabeth was being investigated because of the patients dying under her care. So Mark does die? Waaaaaah! :(

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

he didn't last night, he will be on the show one more time in the weeks to come. but he did leave the ER. I think last nights show was one of the best they've ever had, and that's saying a lot, cause the show is one of the best.

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

It was a very touching show-Hes going to be gone for good come May!!! =[ Thursday night has some great shows!
I will miss Dr.Green! sniff sniff

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

I agree with you Dori, 100%!! I think it was one of the best ones yet, and I will surely stay tuned for the up coming shows where he is suppose to die. Soooo sad :( and sooooo worth watching.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I've watched ER since the beginning (it's my "soap" as DH says) and so many have come and gone. It's hard when a favorite character leaves, but I guess it is representative of real-life, especially in a setting like that, where people are bound to come and go. Still hard to say goodbye to Dr. Greene! (*sniff sniff* - pass the tissues, please?)

Circleville, OH(Zone 8b)

THe show was very good last night and very touching. Not to many of the original cast left now. I'm not sure it will hold it's punch with who's left I don't think they are strong enough to carry it on their own.

I don't like what they are doing with Carrie, too hard nosed and the gay story line doesn't seem to work for her.

Abby is just plain borning, they need to punch her part up a bit. I think mommy needs to come back to town.

Carter, well it was better when he was dealing with the stabbing and the drugs. Now he isn't very interesting.

Dr Kolvatch needs to get past his past and come up with a good story line for him.

Dr bald mean and nasty could just go away as far as I am concerned, I don't think people came really be that mean and nasty 24-7 like they protray him.

Just not the same with Dr green, Dr Ross and nurse Hathaway gone. They were my favorites.

Now don't get me wrong in the past I really liked Carter and Carrie

I have watched from the very begining and have seen a lot of changes, some good and some bad.

Yes it's my one ture evening soap along with CSI which is now becoming my favorite.

For ER to survive they need to bring in a power house of an actor to realy shake up things, and bring back it's punch.

I thought the show was very good last night. My favorite line was when the lady was complaining about her hangnail and Dr Green said "I have a brain tumor and I am going to die". It was "classic". I will miss him. I really miss George Clooney's smile.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

NJewel, That too was my favorite line!!

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

Sniff;e sniff, whimper! I don't know the show but I figured I would continue to sympathize cause IT's your party and I'll cry if I want to, Cry if I want to, You all cry too since they say that Mark is through....

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Mike, you have posted my thoughts, so I must say "amen". I almost wish I had seen last night, if it was that good, but I thought it was best to sort of taper off a few weeks ago, to minimize the effect of withdrawal. I don't know why they have lost so many of the best players, because they certainly threw a bundle of green stuff at them, but they need to go into trauma mode if they are going to survive. Yeah, the thing with Carrie has peaked and passed. Who cares? I liked Dr. Lewis before she left, but even her return has been too tame. Now, if George Clooney comes back (fat chance!), will someone please email me? What a little cutie he is. Carter sort of makes me think he needs to go back to acting school. Peter was good until toward the last few performances, so I didn't miss him going too much. His kid was great. Kolvatch looks like he could turn in some excellent work, but so far has been portrayed as a different version of Carter. I wonder if the problem is with the writers or producers. As a rare viewer of tv, I was surprised to find that I liked that show and The Practice for a couple of years, but I'm back to not feeling they are worth the time.

Blum, TX(Zone 8a)

Don't ask me why I like shows like Er,csi. both law & order, third watch.forensic files, and any murder mystery, when I am terrified of doctors and hospitals. I guess I am thankful it's not me!

Spicewood, TX(Zone 8b)

Nebraska, that was my favorite part, too! I LOVED when he followed it up by telling her, "I win." And when he jumped that little know-it-all snot of a new doctor, the one they were calling "Junior", but did it in a completely civil way while not backing downa whit. But maybe the best part was when he told that junkie woman who had just given birth, the REEEEALLY obnoxious one, how the cow ate the cabbage about what she may have done to her baby by using, then "Congratulations. You're a mother." Or maybe it was when he released the homeless man to die where he wanted to and walked him outside to help him find his cart. Now THAT was touching! Or maybe it was helping the little girl with the splinter. Or...

Yes, Mark will be SORELY missed. The only original cast member now is who? Dr. Carter? Or did he come in later? And Dr. Ramano ~ I kind of like the obnoxious little snit, or is it that I like to dislike him? I was amazed when they let him show some compassion when Dr. Corday told him that Mark's cancer was back. I hope they do expand Dr. Kovach's part in the show and bring back Dr. Ross. Yep, Aimee, what a cutie!! BOTH of the last two, actually!

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Carter is a later addition. Yes, two cuties. And I love it when Sally Field or Rosemary Clooney does a guest part. Never knew Clooney could act, but she really isn't bad. I miss her as a singer.

Circleville, OH(Zone 8b)

Aimee I just think it has lost it's luster, and maybe like you say, I think it is in the writing.

(Zone 6a)

I just recently started watching in the morning on tnt the old ones .
I did not know it was still on.
can you tell me what channel and day and time ?
I have had a satalite for years and don't watch much local tv the picture is so bad...

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Chris, Here in Ga it comes on Channel 11 which is WXIA on Thrusday nights at 10:00pm. Not sure exactly which channel it would be for you though. I too watch it in the mornings on TNT it comes on 2 times back to back! I love it!!

Spicewood, TX(Zone 8b)

Chris, the new shows are on NBC Thursday nights at 9pm central. We also get reruns here via antenna on Sunday nights on a couple different channels at the same time, but just about 30 seconds off on their timing. It's weird to be watching it on one channel, then flip to the other and see what you just saw on the other channel a little bit ago! (Yes, simple minds are easily amused.)

(Zone 6a)

thanks
I just love the two episodes back to back every morning and can't start my day without it now...The kid's even started watching over spring break ...But I have to go back to work on monday after being off for 3 months with my broken foot...Now if I can figure out how to set the timer on the vcr I can continue to watch it.
