Need Niagra Falls vacation.info.

Plymouth, MI(Zone 6a)

DH and I are planning a trip to Niagra falls in August. We went there on our honeymoon 40 years ago. We would appreciate any info on where to stay that is really nice but not a fortune. I have a guide book but would feel better if I knew someone had stayed there. I am really excited to see the butterfly Conservatory and gardens. It doesn't have to be right on the falls.
I know if anyone knows you all will!
Thanks, Meems

Look no further! We go all the time stay at a B&B called the Butterfly Manor. Lucianna has won all sorts of awards. She is the BEST! tell her Linda& Delbert from Pennsylvania sent you. She will take good care of you. You have a private bath there. It is no smoking... You are with in a nice walk to the Falls. If you are intereste she does have a webiste, or I have some info at work I can send to you. Or I will find her website for you. She is the best. Makes a great breakfast. Blueberry muffins to die for. We have stayed ther a good dozen times....you will not be sorry. This is on the Canadian side . make sure you take your birth certificate with you . they have been really checking since 9~11...... PLUS, Lucianna can tell you this fab place to go eat dinner. It is a 4 hour drive for us. I would go there to just eat ! REALLY! you will LOVE the Falls! We are going in October I do believe. Anything I can help you with. Let me know.

http://vaxxine.com/bb/bflymnr.htm This is her! It is her home too. It was built as a B&b...they are the ONLY was to stay, we think. Would not stay anywhere else but with her. It is like going home

I'm sure a B&B would be nicer than where Kenny and I stayed when we drove through, but the Days Inn there was very clean and very reasonably priced ~ about $55 a night. We'd stopped at a Denny's along the way and picked up one of those green magazines that have the coupons in them, so we got it for $34 a night. Not bad at all for as nice of a room as it was! It was on the third or fourth floor looking out on the spray from the falls (couldn't actually see the falls) and the Canadian side ~ BIG window on that side and a very pretty view at night with the Canadian buildings all lit up. We were only about two blocks from the Canadian border.
