What does your keyboard say about you?

I read somewhere about 'burping' your keyboard (turning it over and whacking it on the back) to clean out any dust etc from under the keys.

Rather than dust I got a fair amount of seeds :] ...... and toast crumbs (I eat my brekky while surfing). What secrets does yours give away?

mine would give up seeds too!!! and tiny pieces of chips:) I don't think I got salsa in there!!!

well, last night when I had the light on I noticed some micro-specks of glitter. when I made cards for x-mas the dust was everywhere.

When my hubby cleaned out my last keyboard, it was full of seed mix, chafe and tiny seeds. After he cleaned it, it never worked right again. LOL We had to throw it out and get a new one. :)

Your supposed to clean them? I just let mine fill up with ashes, seeds and crumbs till the keys stick and then pull another one out of the closet! My brother left 8 of them here plus I already had 3 from older computers so I just let it go...pretty durn lazy aren't I!

Last 2 years ago, my son dump glass of milk on keyboard no more good had to buy new one so it will never happen again no drink on cpu area! =)

Redrose, I vowed when I first got a computer that I would not be like those slobs who spill things into their equipment. And I'm not at all like them. I spill it in my lap instead. But I suspect a good close look would reveal a few cookie crumbs and some trail mix under the keys. And the floor is disgusting with all that stuff from popcorn. It just appears from nowhere.

Teeny pieces of erasers and pencils. Elliot the cockatoo sits on my shoulder while I surf and he likes to have something to keep him busy(or he would eat the mouse).

Took a letter opener and popped off a few keys. Put them right back on!

Mental note to self: Unplug keyboard on Saturday and clean it! Lots of unidentifiable stuff in there that I never realized was there! Ugg!
