Indeed, Marcia, I will most definitely include a hologarden room! You've just improved the designs of my latest UFO! Thanks for the input. In exchange, you can be my "beta" tester when it's functional :)
YOO HOO...Here I am...I don't take up much space since I drive a golf cart...but I have it all fixed up nice..... red, with a rose decal on the front...I named her Rosie. She has a nice top with fringe around the edges....seats 4...anyone need a ride? Could I please get a Root Beer Float, and maybe a Moon Pie? SLURP!!! Jo
Roadrunner, get me an "R C cola and a moon pie singing Maple on the Hill". Anyone else remember that old song? That one really dates this old gal. I tell the grandkids that Grandmama is older than dirt. LOL The worse part is that they probably believe me.

Chugga chugga splutter rrrrmmm pow! pow! Everybody watch out or I'll run you right over with my old Ford tractor. Can't drive this dadblaim thing very well yet :~) She sputters and she backfires but she'll get me there eventually. Can you tailgate off a tractor? Nice to see ya'll gathered round. The cops use to run us off for being in the parking lot of the local shopping mall, fooled those cops didn't we!
Lana
Lana you remind me of an old landlady way back!! We rented a property from her when we first were married. She had lots of land and was quite a character!! At the age of 80 she still rode on the tractor with her grandson. Quite famous she was too and made the local newspapers!! The local authorities wanted to do an inspection of her property regarding her animals and she kept them all at bay sitting on her tractor brandishing a shotgun!! Not that I'm suggesting you would do the same :-)
;~) Louisa. I very well might hold someone at bay sitting on the tractor and I do have a sawed off shotgun...who knows? But give me about 64 years and I may be just like that old landlady :~) When it comes to my animals I'm very protective.
Lana
I know Lana and glad to hear that - I read your posts all the time in the farming forum :-) I see cows around this part of the countryside who look so miserable and thin!! Or is it me again, being paranoid about animals!!
hey somebody please pass me and RC an apack of peanuts to fill me bottle.......
There are many people out there who, IMHO, don't care for their animals properly and also many who should never own animals at all.
Lana
Yes Lana, sad but true!!
Lol Mystic, I won't take your fist born but will take a brug or two lol.
Oh by the way I will be selling tickets to the movie THE PLANT THAT ATE THE GARDNER'S, and will end with the ever popular cartoon THE GARDNER'S THAT ATE THE PLANTS, ok eveybody line up one at a time tickets are $2 for adults and $1 for kids, babies get in free. There will also be grilled hot dogs, hambergers, and grilled corn on the cob for a small fee lol.

Are the movies at the drive-in? If so count me in!! I really miss the drive-in here. We actually had one in business until about 5 years ago now it's an 84 Lumber. I went by myself to see the movie Twister and it was wild! There was a storm blowing in with high winds and lightening but never got any rain so the movie kept going, it really put you INTO the movie if you know what I mean :~) I'll take a hot dog w/everything, corn on the cob w/xtra butter, and a Coca Cola.
Lana
Smacks of virtual reality Lana!! Saw that movie too!! Windy I've never been to a drive-in movie!! I guess they went out of fashion but the idea appeals to me!!
Oh, Louisa, there are a few left scattered around the countryside, and you must go! Shall we run a search for you?
That sounds like fun Aimee!!! Actually I lied about not ever going to one - I forgot I had been to one in Malta years and years ago and the name of the film was "Spellbound"!!!! And I was!!! lolol!!!
Lana, about 15 years ago I lived over in Greenbrier County, WV...with the road twisting along beside the Greenbrier River. About every day as we were taking our DD to school we'd get behind this old man and woman going to town...on their tractor! He had built her a seat facing to the back...her legs dangling off the tractor...and NO WHERE to pass on that twisting road...you just might as well settle back for a slow ride...as he would not pull over and let the cars behind him get around them.....Elena...Here is your RC...and I got you a banana moon pie...sorry it took so long but I ran into windsurffer and had to yap!!! Jo
RR, no kidding!! I have family in Lewisburg :~) My favorite cousins live in Renick outside of Lewisburg on a twisty road, do you know where that is? It's a tiny little town. That same road passes by Pearl Buck's birth place with the cabin still standing and goes to Marlinton and beyond.
Lana
Lana...yes I do!! been up that way a few times...and to Cass Railroad...I love to ride that train up the mountain...
Have you visited the Caverns over near Lewisburg and Roncevert? They are nice. But Blue Bend is one of my very favorite places!!! Hey! Let's meet over that way this summer...in July!! Jo
Thanks for the RC and the moon pie, Roadrunner. I guess I needed to wait awhile anyway. I don't need all that sugar if I want to appear slim and charming at Roundup. Probably not a chance of either but I can try, can't?. LOL Speaking of sweets, wonder if anybody is planning to bring some super desserts to Roundup? Whoever is in charge of that had better post a guard on them round the clock cause I might be tempted to get into them before they are all eaten up. ha! Can I help it if I like desserts?
Jo, I would love to meet. I was talking to my cousin in Renick just yesterday and she was asking when I was coming up to visit. I haven't been up there since State Fair in 99. I have never gotten to go to the caverns or on Cass railroad though I've always wanted to. I have been to Ronceverte many times to the stock yards. My Dh and I honeymooned in a cabin in Greenbriar State Forest. My baby goats will be weaned by July and hopefully everything else will be in order here so I can get a weekend away. Oooh Oooh, I know what we can do! I have been wanting to go to this plant nursery up there, here is the http://www.sunfarm.com/ That would be fun if you like the idea. We'll talk soon.
Lana
Hey Jo - You sure are going to do a lot of travelling in July!! Don't you dare pass me up!!! Remember!! Carol first and then me - then you can visit Lana!! :-) BTW the new grandchild is due around 8th July and I will be in Chicago for about a week!!

Louisa we still have a couple of Drive in theaters here and it is a lot of fun to take a couple chairs, cooler and some grilled hot dogs with all the fixings and enjoy a good movie. The food at the drive ins cost to much and taste awful.
Hey Jo,nice to see you made it to the drive in, let me get you a hot dog.
That's alright Wvdaisy just putter on in here and join the fun..just watch out for my toes lol.
Lana....my Dad built those cabins in Greenbrier State Park!! I have emailed my neice/friend in Alderson and showed her the link you sent...she wants to go there too...and I will stay with her when I get to meet up with you. So plan for sometime about the middle of July. I'll send telephone numbers later. Jo
hey now wait a minute....jo u don't expect me to set at home while your out running the roads do u????????
[[[[[[nana]]]]]]]
Nan....only ROADRUNNERs get to run around ...Herblady's have to stay home and take care of their plants!! LOL BUT we might make an exception for you! Jo
Now Road Runner you don't have to live up to your name gallivanting around the country lol. Now just when do you think you'll have time for this garden you've planted, or have you planted it yet?
Kit....of course I've planted it!....in my HEAD! Nope, I have seed looking at me daily...from little peat pots, egg cartons, and little bowls of water....mostly thanks to you! If all these seeds you sent me manages to survive I'll be living in a jungle....instead of a desert!
Heigh-ho, heigho- it's off to planting I will go! Jo
And.....speaking of that I must get off line and go pot some little plants into bigger pots. Have a great day everyone.
Windy one of these days I will start to visit other states. Most of you have established gardens and the season's chores are what you all have to deal with. I am still trying to get mine to look like a garden!! So I'm tied here most of the time. I will go to a drive-in movie one day!!! Jo, who is going to look after your plants when you go galivanting??
Louisa, hurry up and get those beds ready. You know I have some pretties for you. :)
Louisa, I am building up "gardening points" with a friend next door...single gal that likes my cooking!! So she will cover for me. Jo
Have I been missing out on this conversation or what? I need to get caught up.......I'm too far behind :(
Mystic, how's the chocolate vine coming along :)
Chele believe me I'm working myself to a frazzle and can't wait to start trading, especially after seeing all the goodies in your garden :-) Jo, you are clever!!!!! Good cook too, huh!! Susan, you do have some catching up to do but it won't take long. You've had a lot on your plate lately!!
Not that I would ever want to further frazzle you, but let me just say............Coreopsis rosea, daisies!!! LOL
Well now I can take that kind of frazzle. I did have the pink one but it died whilst the yellow is still good. I wonder why?? Having said that, there's no sign of the yellow yet - too early???
Both of my yellows are up, but only a few inches. If yours don't make it, I can send you some yellow too. :) But only if you turn on your darn MSN! I want to talk to you and I am tired of chasing you around DG! LOL So, what else do you *need*??
ROFL - That's just what I was thinking!! That darn girl is following me around and it's about time we chatted...lol!!! Let me just check the weather page - I think we are going to get a storm - and than I'll join you!! HAHAHAHA!!!!!
Louisa you'll get it together in no time at all, it gets so addictive that it will take over and before you know it you will be like the rest of us....GREEDY lol.
