my lip liner pencil from Estee Lauder in the color fig. It goes with any lipstick you put on. Whats your favorite cosmetic????

Oh Meems, don't know how I can pick. Have to have mascara because my eyelashes are so blonde, but hate to part with my lipstick too(the ones that don't rub off-can't stand greasy lips!). I'm just a plain old Revlon girl. :)

What are you talking about CoCo...I remember a photo posted by Seed of you and trust me..you didn't have a paper bag. Seems to me there was alot of hair. And it was very very dark... LOL

windsurffer,you don't have this picture of me. Look under CoCoSeeds threads and you will see the picture of me that she had posted sometime back. Everyone gives me a bad time about that picture and here I thought it was a good likness,except for my tiara; don't wear that much. Just had to dress up a bit to have picture done.

I second what I said earlier, but think I may need to add a few more people! LOL My hubby laughs because I put on mascara and lipstick to go to the hardware store and just to mow the grass. gulp..........does that make me a priss? I do get dirty too, I just like lips and eyes while I do it. :)

windsurffer, my legs may be bigger but I bet yours where at least shaved. Mine weren't as you noticed.No time for me to shave. Had to pose for the picture. Just had to wear that tutu to show off those great lookin' legs.

I'm a total slob! However, I will do the girly stuff if I'm going out in public. I would never be able to give up my lotion. My hands get so dry from washing them all the time. Lotion would definitely be at the top of my list.

Whoa, Vic, lotion and skin cream are not makeup! Those are as necessary for the support of feminine life as breath itself. Also, emery boards to smooth these paper thin nails every few seconds when I get a snag or tear. Those things are maintenance tools. To me, makeup is color and provides disguise. As an old lady used to say "wearing all that powder and paint, to make you look like what you ain't." But in my salad days, I did wear the stuff. I was Miss National Westmore, thank you, and was required to wear fake eyelashes, nails and all manner of clown tricks. I was allergic to the adhesive that should have secured the nails, as well as the adhesive strip to fasten the eyelashes. So it was quite a job requirement for me. I would wear them to the meetings, or a bigwig breakfast, then rush to remove them as soon as I was out of their reach, lest I turn into a strawberry with clubbed fingertips. Once, the national manager walked right past me without a glimmer of recognition, because they made me look like someone else for sure and he had never seen me without them. I consider it a luxury not to have to wear makeup and pantyhose.

Makeup? Hair? Cripes! no one told me I had to worry about these things. Being bought up with mainly men no one spent the time to teach me such things.

I don't need a mask, the hair on my head sees to it that people don't always realise I have a face. I also have milk white skin during Winter and Spring so any makeup is very noticable, particularly lipstick. Add that to pointed canine teeth and people I meet start wearing roll neck sweaters and talking to me during daylight hours only.

I do wear makeup on special occasions and spend the entire time rubbing the stuff off, by the end of the evening I'm back to being Baa greeting the world as I was made.

I am ashammed.. I am a makeup user.. I've looked for a 12 step program but so far have had to rough it on my own. If I am leaving the house I do mascara. (Covergirl Professional the brand I started with when i was in highschool) and liner and blush sometimes lipstick which has to be Revlon ColorStay...
If I'm in a hurry and don't expect to see anyone I know I still have to have at least sunscreen and mascara. See,... I have a serious face paint problem.
It get even worse.... here's the biggest secret of all... I don't wash any of it off when I go to bed!!!!

I used to love makeup but time is too precious now. So unless I go anywhere special it's just a quick slap on the foundation, lick of mascara and a dab of lipstick and as soon as I get home I wash it off immediately!!

Carmex! LOL! Seriously, I used to never leave the house without makeup, but no more! The last time I wore makeup was April, 2001, when I had to go to court. I sometimes wish I had more time to "make myself more presentable." One vice I DO have is I NEVER leave the house without clean and brushed hair!

Bag Balm...I use lots of Bag Balm. If it's good enough for cow's teets, it's good enough for my old face. Boy, am I an old heifer or what!

Seriously, as others have said before me, I used to wear makeup..being fair complected, it helped to define my face. Now that I'm older, I find that makeup looks harsh against wrinkles & sags in my face...eye liner becomes dark thunderbolts, mascara thumps against sagging eye lids. It all sounds much worse than it is, but wearing makeup makes me look like a hooker with a lousy retirement plan.

As I recall, I used to love those pallets (paint pallets, not cargo pallets!) of eye shadow...all those lovely colors and the soft brushes and applicators. Then one day, as I was applying it, I began to use all the colors to paint my entire face. It was great fun, and I looked like Bozo... guess that's when I gave up on makeup as a beauty aid!

coco, wind and all, This has been alot more fun than I thought it would be!!!!!!!! coco you are lovely in your photo. You must tell us all your beauty secrets. All I can say is I love this place.
