Hey, Dave, how many hits by members each day?

Do you have a way of knowing that? And then how many hits total, per day? This must be a pretty busy little site, if the population increases as fast as it does.

It'd take about an hour to run that report, so I'm not going to run it today. I know that the DG Network (That's Dave's Garden, the plants database, watchdog, etc) gets a total of around 100,000 unique visitors each month.

As for how much of that traffic is members, I can't approximate that. Probably 50% of our traffic is generated by members, and the rest is visitors coming in, checking for info, and leaving.

It has taken me to the extent that my colleagues know what I'm doing when I'm in front of the computer !!!! (the one in the department that is designated for the Internet) - as I visit DG from my office taking my own short bursts of breaks.

Last week, my li'l daughter was mentioning "DG". I had shown her when she's here sometime ago and she remembers that.

After the Love Lies Bleeding post, I think it's more likely they are hitting on him, but Trish keeps them under control. I mean, can you imagine being a young thing and running into those blue eyes, that look of .. oh, never mind! Maybe the average age here rules that out. But watch out for Roadrunner.
