As most of you know by now, besides being a gardener, I am also involved with floral impressionist art. I take photos of flowers I have grown in my garden and run their pictures through various computer filters—thus the computer is my paintbrush—and then name each piece by what it reminds me of.
In this case I named my latest piece “Family of DG Friends”. I hope you like it as much as I do. Only the first page of my Cyber Monet site is commercial but very discreet, as you would not know unless you click on to one of the 6 pictures on that page. On the lower left you will see a button called “Private Stock”. Then just click on to the cyber painting’s name. This section is noncommercial.
Should anyone want a free copy to use as computer wallpaper or just to get a better look you can e-mail me at jerry@impressionistgarden.com It may take a while but I promise to send a copy to everyone that asks. This picture can only be used for noncommercial purposes. See link below for www.cybermonet.com

Monet has always been my favorite.
Thanks!
Baa, I wish I did this for a living as it is what I love the most to grow beautiful flowers and capture their beauty on film and then canvas so that they will live forever.
For a year now on my impressionist garden web site I have had a tribute to Claude Monet. It is a noncommercial site that celebrates the art of gardening. Its main purpose was to share the beauty of gardening, excite and motivate seasoned gardeners and to promote the art so that more people would want to become gardeners. It has achieved that goal many times over.
I have a day job as a Quality Assurance Inspector at Gardener's Supply Company. I have been there 9 years.
The reason I created the Cyber Monet web sit is because my 14 year relationship ended this past December. We however are still good friends and Ericka is helping me with my rent for one year so that I would not loose my flower garden in our break up. She is a lovely person to do this as this home is more than I can afford on my own.
Since I would have to leave my current job for higher pay elsewhere--would have broken my heart--I had to come up with something else. That is why the first page of Cyber Monet is commercial.
I however wanted to still share the beauty of my impressionist art so I created the noncommercial page called private stock. As some of those prints make their way to the commercial page I will always replace them with new cyber paintings for free viewing. With what little I make I give myself a better chance to stay here.
I hope my honesty does not take away from the true reason I dedicated a cyber painting to DG, because the reason came from my heart.
I have been invited to send slides of my work to the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City for consideration of a possible exhibit for summer 2003. Keep your fingers crossed.
To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow. I did and I do believe.

No Jerry you didn't take anything away from it. I do understand your problem as we are in the same boat with the rent here. This is the time of year when his work is slow and so we are pinching pennies just to keep above board. They sold the business that he sub contracts from and they have made a lot of changes, being self employed is not all it's cracked up to be. There I go getting off the subject lol.
Good luck with the offer to display your art in the museum, keep us posted.
Thnks for sharing Jerry. I've visited your site before, very good stuff! Will check out the Private Stock as well (I used to drink something called "private stock"...).
Don't know how you do that art but it sure is quality! I like it!
ooooooooo jerry thank you for thr enjoyment,i would not
be able to get anything done if i lived there,,,,,
you are a very talented person, keep up the beautiful
