The more I work on this, the more I realize that it is lacking one major feature. It's big enough to warrant me to start this thread to get some feedback from the beta testers.
So, currently, the way it works is:
1. Add the category.
2. Add the item.
3. Add entries to the item.
But, what if you want to have several entries of the same item? For example, say you want to grow Brandywine tomatoes, and you're going to grow several different runs of them, using different techniques and started at different times.
You might do this to experiment on what the best method for growing these is, or whatever.
So, what would you do? Here's my thought on how to solve the problem:
1. Add the category (Vegetables, Heirloom, Tomato)
2. Add the item-TYPE (Brandywine)
3. Then, at this point, you add a new "run" of this type. You can call it "Run 1". Attach it to the Brandywine, and there you go.
4. Add entries to the "run".
Is this making sense to anybody? What should I do? This is an important feature for me, as I'll be using several different techniques on the same batch of seeds, and I want to track them individually.
Thoughts?
