This is it!!!!!

This is it we leave in a few hours for the Palace of Auburn Hills for Teigs indiviual state tournament. It starts today at 2:30 and we hopefully will still be there on Saturday for the finals! Everyone keep your fingers crossed and you knees bent!
Where ever Teig finishes-hes always 1st with mom!! :]
The weather is -snowing snowing snowing!!! Id better start getting ready to go-gotta wake up the little bro's to take with us!! They have shirts with Teigs name n weight on it-the front says dont mess with me my brothers a wrestler! ;]
Keep us in yor thoughts n prayers this weekend- will be missing all of you!

Thanks Everyone for all the well wishes!!!! We are back!
What a weekend-Teig is 3rd in the state and his last match was his 200th win-making him the 21 or 22nd wrestler in the state to ever reach 200! I have 200 more gray hairs!!!! Dayme was sick all weekend too!=[
Teig ended the season 63-6. Boy am I one proud mommy!!! =]
The weather when we left was unreal-it had been warm and pouring rain all day-we left Detroit at 8:30 and it was 28 degrees now pouring snow and 40-50 mph wind gusting to 70!!
We have a hightop van-it was blowing us off the high way and the highway was icy most of the way-At one point we were only goin 10mph with traffic-cars off the road everywhere(50 more gray hairs)in Saginaw we had to be rerouted because of an accident on the highway! Im very thankful to have made it home safely!
All my arches in the garden and my windmill and some other stuff is all blown over-except my arch i made from cherry branches! lol-I put it up in 30mph winds that day!!! My GH is still standing!!! =)
Thank you everyone for sharing my sons High school wrestling(SR.year)it really means alot to me! :)

Congrat! Sounds like ya'll had quite a trip mixed in with the competition excitement! Tieg did great, eh? Now what does he plan on doing since the season is over?

Guess you all better rest up, then go reconstruct arches and windmills. Sorry you had to come home to that mess.

I think that is wonderful that he did so well. I am glad you didn't come home to find your greenhouse ruined. All that other stuff can be done rather easily but not the greenhouse. The trip home sounds like a real nightmare. I am glad you were able to make it back home without having a disaster. Now....on to planting and growing and more fun gardening. Wonder what other folks do for fun, huh?
