My turn to brag.

My daughter got inducted to the National French Honor Society this week. Its a big deal here more prestigious than the beta club which she is also a member. I am so proud of her. She is just a sophomore and this usually just happens to Jrs. and Seniors. They are planning a trip for to France next year . I would love her to go but not sure we can swing it but sure going to try. Just wanted to share this with my friends. Heck you are my family.

Mystic, Congratulations to both you and your daughter. I sincerly hope that all goes well for her and she gets to go. Tell her I'm proud of her.

I vote for the trip for both of you, as it is to the credit of her mom that she accomplished this. I think she was the pretty girl at Flowox's wasn't she? What a winner! Congratulations, this is no easy thing. My own DD was in that seat as a junior and we thought it was a real coup.

Congratulations!! It is the most wonderful thing to see your child do well.

Congratulations, I hope that you both get to go. My niece was in school in Aix en Provence--where a lot of US students go to school and it was a wonderful experience for her. Her mom went for a visit and the sightseeing was great, all those open markets. I will keep my fingers crossed for you two.

Congrats Heather!!! So kewl!!! Now lookee here!!!....when you get to France DON'T order French Fries...(they aren't French, they import them from America). Also, learn to say "ala mode"...I think that is something frozen they put on pieces of pie over there. And, if someone says "wee-wee" they are NOT asking directions to the bathroom, k?

Just got word...FRENCH FRIES came from Belgium, not America! (I been eating foreign gourmet food all these yrs and didn't know it!)
