Kell, "Stargate" is a series - it is a circle that you walk through. My Mike has the whole 6 series that is out right now ... he loves it. It is actually pretty good!
A TV series? LOL, I am way behind on what is on TV. I am a cable news freak! I will have to look for it.
Kell, It's an Hbo or showtime series I think, oddly enough it is one of the few english shows we get in Turkey...
So when are we leaving? I'm leaving the US on the 19th of April, I'll wait for you all at Monika's, but I cant stay long, I've been away almost a month and miss my family. So we should do a quickie midnight raid on the 20th or 21st.....

You know, sometimes they have very very reasonable rates to Germany from turkey, maybe I can come over for a weekend, I have some other friends in germany that I could see too.......(in Munich area)
Frankfurt Rhein/Main Airport is the closest to me. Pebble, that would be a great idea. You could also travel by ICE from Munich to Fulda, where we would pick you up.
Monika, let me get home and I will look into a little trip, maybe with my daughter, before my son and his friend come home.
Lufthansa last year started a direct service from portland, oregon - where we flu out of to frankfurt. so if I were in portland, it would be one plane to you. and all flights to turkey from portlad are through frankfurt. But i am flying delta this time. I will let you know when I can make it, if not this summer to see your gardens, definately in the fall when the kids go back to the US
This would be fine pebble but it is too late in the fall. End Of July to Mid August would be fine. The first snow comes early, my plants have to be in the winterhouse by the end of September.
I admire your dedication to Brugs Monika with the amount of work you have to do for them and your short season. It truly must be a labor of love.
Monika, they were advertising some special one way rates to germany for like 90 euros....couldnt believe it, but then you have to buy a regular ticket back...i thought i could just come for a day or so, but I just got back....

Yes, scoot, I saw Root's classic post early on and it crossed my mind that it might be a reenactment of a real event, and that Root might still be living in his hippy days and, or the other side of his suitcase might say 'will work for food'....it was funny before I knew it was staged and it's even funnier now that I know all involved...
