This beautiful hybrid was the most requested plant

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

The beautiful heavy blooming hybrid Marygold was very often requested in recent years. Cuttings of the generative region flower early. The flower looks similar to that of Grand Marnier, but are larger.

I can see why. That's a beauty!!

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

I bet it was! It is very nice.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Lovely - was this picture taken before the plant went into the ground - or after it was dug up? It's not in one of your holey pots. It must break your heart to cut back plants in the fall when they're covered with such beautiful blooms.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

The plant had not been in the ground. Its planted with its smaller pot into the larger. The tree is tied on the roof.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

The tree is tied on the roof??? Is that where you're taking us next? To the roof?

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Monika...a very nice pastel color! :-)

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

THE ROOF?????

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Monika, It's a beautiful plant. I can see why so many requested it.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Thin wires hold it. Marygold is cream colored with a touch of peach.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Someone sent me a little piece of that and I killed it. I think it froze in the mail, it never recovered.

Hamilton, Canada

Monika,
I love that one! I reminds me of a delicate creme and peach rose that I saw somewhere on the web. Myself, I'm entralled with the two toned colored double brugs.

A few years ago I started a small garden bed with a collection of peach colored flowers which of course are rather hard to come by. I did manage to find some miniature peach and yellow roses to plant there. In additon I have one old heirloom garden climbing rose that I bought about 4 years ago that I'm nursing along and hope to eventually train over an arbor. Now my list of requests from you is going to get larger for sure. This one for me is an absolute must. Were you able to find out about the new Euro currency yet? Let me know when you do so I can sent out for my Permit.

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

OOOOoooo very beautiful lot of flowers WOW!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

How many brugs are tied to your roof?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Strange idea but it works

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Are you going to let us see it? Other people just have weathervanes you know! LOL~~ There is a vegetable store on the road up to brugcrazy's house that have live goats grazing on the roof but I never thought about it before - how does one water goats and brugs on the roof?

Liz, you're too funny. The goats eat the thatched roof of the store in Coombs. It's off the beaten path now with the new highway. It rains enough here I don't think they worry about watering the goats on the roof. LOL

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

It doesn't rain much in the summer - not enough to water a goat (or a brug) Actually- just thought some more about this - don't want to think about what else is on that roof.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hey Liz, I believe the tree is tied to the roof not on the roof.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Oh

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Brugie is right. Its tied to the roof. Some times its a little bit confusing for me with the correct translation.

On top of the roof would be auf dem Dach; but tied on the roof is am Dach; does tied on to the roof sounds better?

Monika,
We have done the same thing here...sometimes they get so tall the roof is the only thing tall enough.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Ok,now I have to wipe the drool off my keyboard!!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Root, we're gonna have to take a trip to Germany! I bet Tracey and Kell would go with us to distract Monika while we chop a few little pieces from her plants. I bet she wouldn't notice at all!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

My wife was talking about it just this morning!

Blue Springs, MO(Zone 5b)

LOL - I can just see you guys going to Germany for brugs!! ...You ARE the perfect Brugsmuggler, as we all know, Root!!! Monica, your brugs are absolutely wonderful.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

LOL, you are so funny Root. I can just see you at the customs office "Honest sir, that's just the way my suitcase is made, no illegal brug cuttings from Germany anywhere in there"

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

What are you going to Halloween as this year Root? You'll have a hard time topping that one.
Monika, either that is a really short building or that is a really huge plant.

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

Monika this is breathtaking!

Root you are to funny!!!

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

OMG it is Chong! Root hurry get another costume, if you wear that brugs won't be the only thing they search you for! Susie I am afraid I will have to pass, or pass out one, that would be the only way you could get me on a plane...... unless we are going by boat? I can just see us now basking in the sun, sailing the ocean, while the waves gently sway the ship...sounds like fun huh Susie.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Beautiful Brug, Monika.

LOL Root, you are so funny.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

Root ... love it!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Too fantastic..........both Monika's brug and the Root!! LOL
Tracey, you and I will take tranquilizers and the others can carry us on board!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

NOOOOOOO......ain't no way I'm getting on another ship unless you knock me out for the whole journey. My friend said "you will never even know the ship is moving" yeah right, she lied! I was soooooooo sick, I couldn't even eat. I had the pills, the patch and ginger snaps and ginger ale.......nothing worked.
