pop the popcorn and unplug the phone...

because tonight at 8:00pm EST on your local CBS station is the much anticipated premier of Survivor Marquesas.

"16 Americans are stranded on the remote island of Nuku Hiva, one of the Marquesas islands, a distant neighbor of Tahiti in the South Pacific. To survive, the Survivors must form a cooperative society -- building shelter, gathering and catching food, and competing in challenges. To the winners will go rewards to make island life more bearable. Those who fail must do without."

I think this'll be the best Survivor series yet!

Oklahoma City, OK(Zone 7a)

Sorry, but this holds no interest for me at all. I have plenty of adventure in my own life. I'm not sure anyone with small children can sit down for that long at one time anyway. :)

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

I'm with smiln32 :)

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I am with notmartha because I will be watching Friends.

Joey & Rachel every night too and RAYMOND,LOL' Survivor doesn't seem authentic to me,sorry'

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

I'm not a TV person, so I'll either be playing with my plants and seeds, or surfing the net while I watch my taped "Days of our lives". I've never watched friends or survivor, but then I don't have control of the romote to the tv that has the dish hooked to it either. LOL!

Kitchener, ON(Zone 5A)

I'll be watching Friends as well and the Will and Grace and ER of course.... please don't tell me Mark is going to die Notmartha... I refuse to believe it... sob

Benton, KY(Zone 7a)

Ahhh...the luxury of having both east and west coast feeds on satellite.Whatever you miss at 7 you can watch at 10.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'm with ya Dave, it's time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Circleville, OH(Zone 8b)

We are ready to go so I am leaving now can't miss this.

Spring Hill, FL(Zone 9a)

survivor must require a small city of sound trucks and technicians to produce the show...so much for authenticity. Amusing though.

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Never watched a nanosecond of it.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

geez, it's just a tv show. if you don't put down mine, I won't put down yours:) deal?? :)

Circleville, OH(Zone 8b)

Goodbye Peter, there was just something I didn't like about him. Wasn't sorry to see him go, now Sarah should be next.
Sorry I just don't like her. BYE BYE

Now the limo driver reminds me of Richard Hatch, and we know how that ended up. BOO hiss
until next week.
Mike

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

LOL!! Mike, I kinda liked him til near the end. Don't like the construction worker or Sarah, hope they are soon. Liked Hunter a lot, which means he'll probably go soon too :(

Circleville, OH(Zone 8b)

I didn't get much of a feel on the other team yet, maybe next week.

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

Hey I love this show but cannot watch sitcoms!!!!!!! It doesn't hold a candle to the new castaway either but it's entertainment!! However it does give us an insight into personalities and it's fun wondering who will be the next to go!! Didn't like Peter in the end either but thought Sarah would be the first to go!! She hasn't a hope of winning the cash but with her figure and looks she will most probably land a TV contract or 'be discovered'. My guess is that is exactly why she's there!! I am sure the ex Navy pilot will do really well - forgotten his name already!! The real, honest, gritty show comes shortly - The New Amazing Race!!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

another fan of my fav!! it's really a toss-up between these two shows, but I have to watch AR by myself cause hubby can't stay up that long. Saw so many beautiful parts of the world (very quickly !!) I don't watch much tv, but love these two shows!!!

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

we are not big TV folks, with only 7 channels on the tube it is hard to catch anything worth my time. I've never watched any of the survivor shows before. When they said it was in the Marquesas, well, it caught my attention. Tahiti/ South Pacific has been my dream place to see ever since I could read books on the S.Pacific. I am hooked on it. So just one night a week, Peter Pan, Muppet movies and Veggie Tales will have to take an hour off...with only one TV in the house, it will be my turn(something I never push for). Bye-Bye Peter, glad to see you go! He had my vote!

LOL!!! good to have you on board Lisa!!! he was a tad weird, huh?? LOL!

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

In the end I felt sorry for Peter - in the last short interview. I think he was trying hard to impress at first and made a complete idiot of himself but in those few last spoken words he seemed 'human'!! Like his wife told him - just go and have fun and that's what he should have done. There is so much play for the cameras and it must be hard to 'be yourself'!! He took the first humiliating exit very well I thought thereby redeeming himself!! Given the location (heaven almost) I don't think I would worry about the million bucks. Just leave me on that fabulous beach and island with a little garden for veggies and a radio and you can keep the money :-)

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Margaret, whom do you seek to kid? You could no more settle for a veggie garden than you could sprout wings. In two weeks, you would have somehow contacted the mainland, brought in vines and flowering shrubs, and with local ground covers and exotic tropicals filling it all out, one would be fortunate to be able to see the cucumbers you tucked away in the arbor.

Newcastle, ON(Zone 5a)

LOL!
