Good News!

My friend Cindy was telling a reporter about me and my hobbies, Cooking, Gardening as well as mixing my own herbs so now the lady wants to talk to me and maybe do an article on me in one of our local news papers Called The Westside Messenger. It would tickle me pink if she does, of course I would invite her back when my garden is in full bloom, I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks guys, Cindy collects and has just about everything from the show. That is what the article was about" A Smipler Time". I have never met him myself just one of his many fans, I'll bet your kids got a big kick out of that. I was trying to con her out of some of her stuff like the lighted replica of the town of Mayberry, well she wasn't having any of that, she knew that I was kidding.

Don Knotts is from my state of WV...and went to school with my former pastor. He invited the Pastor and wife to the broadway show he was doing with Andy ..."No time for Sargents", a very funny show. Jo

JustmeLisa I almost cried, I was so happy. God has blessed me with some wonderful friends and this week I just found out how much of a freind they are.
I had one friend of mine offer me $1,000 to help me move,of course I couldn't take it because I wouldn't be able to pay her back anyways soon, but the offer touched my heart so much. These are the things that has happened to me just this week alone. I just wanted you to know how God has been blessing me.

It will be nice if I do get to do it guys, I just talked to her tonight and she said that she is not going to do an article on gardening but cooking. I told her that I combine the two and if she doesn't do an article on me she still has to come and see my back yard in full bloom. She asked me where I was last year when she was looking for gardeners? She stated that she had been doing it for the last five years and thought that it was time for a change.
Well maybe through her I can get the neighborhood to start a community garden. I am going to run it by her and see what she thinks.

Guys your to much, no celebrities here. I was hoping to use this to get this dead lazy neighborhood up off it's behind and do something for their children that would give them some self esteem. It is really sad because there is nothing for them to do around here in the summer. Unless the parents packs them up in the car and take them to a movie, the park or whatever they have nothing to do but roam the streets. Our neighborhood is right on a main street that leads to the freeway, so there is no place for them to play. There are far too many accidents on this street and my grandchildren aren't allowed to play in my front yard, cars has ended up there a time or two. Then the people around here wonder why their children are so bad.
They act as if spending a little money would kill them.
Well I could go on forever on this subject so I'd better quit before you start throwing rotten tomatoes and booing me lol
