Monika...these growers only care about one thing....MONEY!!!They don't acre about whether they are wrong or not..I saw a site last night in Holland or Denmark and they had a namer on everything someone has grown..so many similar and the same..but put a different name on it and PRESTO!! More money and more customers.Would be so simple..every individual species and hybrid brig has a unique DNA signiture..I say any patented or differently named hybrid be checked for that DNA signature and all the differences will show themselves..if they have more than one cultivar name it will show up as the same DNA...so there you have the wonderful world of patented plants and retail dilemmas.

It would be so simple.....but then, they could not offer over 100 - 200 Brug species or claiming to have the greatest Brug list in Europe anymore. Have you received the cataloge copy? Just count the many similars and you will know how some retailers reach these giant brug lists.
And I still kept plants out of my list which are not worthy to cultivate, own and other peoples hybrids.
Monika..its the same in this country...every grower wants to have THE BIGGEST list of brugs....its more impressive that way.If I had named every one I ever came up with I would have hundreds of kinds too.!!LOL I say take a pic of each and post to the catalogs and people can see for themselves.
