MaVie and Rodger

(Zone 5a)

I thought that we should start sharing information here.
MaVie I didn't know you liked hot peppers, I loved your pictures my mouth just started to water lol.

Rodger I am the queen of container gardening, it is getting so bad the OB(old bucket) doesn't want to cut the grass because he has to move so many of them. I am going to be planting some peppers in pots as well.

Heeey, it's Roger, not Rodger ;)

Tell the old bucket to hang them up in the trees or put a hammer and nails in his hands and make something to hang them from and he can cut the grass or just tell him that he cant eat the grass.I was thinking to make a place to put my container growing toms on that are in picking hight if I plant determinate tom in the ground they will be dirty and rutten but if I have them 1,5 meters over the ground they will grow better and easyer to pick.I can also put some growing protect net over it.

Hej, hur är vättern där i Sverige? Vi hade hård vinden igår och massor av snö idag.

Apropå om namnen, Roger, varför skriver du inte med ä, ö och å? Är ditt namn Dahlström?

Windsurffer ... like i said before, we seem to have a lot of things in 'common';)! yes, Yes, YES!!! i love hot peppers, i grew up eating pepper in all kinds and forms. eating peppers must be in my bloodline.

other pepper i grow like jalapeno and others i grow on the ground. whereas the habanero varieties, i grow in 5 gal. containers to prevent the cold winter from killing the plants. it has been my observation that they are somewhat perennial type through all the years i've grown them. i do not have a green house, so when cold weather looms, i do bring them indoors. guess what, they are still producing flowers and fruit indoors too! since i live in the boonies, it is so difficult for me find plant or seed for them. the very reason why i keep them indoors. the common varieties - i considered annuals is much, much easier to find and plant.

Roger,oh excuse me I mean Evert /;) your such a little sweetie, I got a little laugh out of that one lol.

Roger what tree? we don't have any trees and trust me there is nothing to hang anything from here.
I am sorry about misselling your name at the top and I can't fix it now. I think I am one of the worst spellers here lol
Roger what kind of seeds don't you have?

MaVie I have some seeds that I would be glad to send you. I had the little decorative hot pepper bush where the peppers turn all different colors, but that was a couple of yrs ago and I don't have any seeds for them but I do have some large Jalapeno', giant cayenne and I will send you some seeds from the Chilli peppers my niece brought back from LA.
E-me and send me your address. Thanks for the link to the firewall :)

Do you live in the desert? Well put some wood, hammer and nail in the hand of Buck and nail the pots (over the ground) so the wind dont make them fall down and put in the plants you can also have a little dripwatering system so you just put on the water and let it drip. This little pepper could it be numex twighlight?I think this pepper have 5 colours at the same time

No I live in the city with a landlord that won't allow you to attach anything to his property, so I just have to make do. Don't worry I will have a lot of plants this year as you will see. I am the only one in my house that likes vegetables and for sure the only one that likes hot peppers.
I also give my daughter and family half of the vegetables that I plant and what I have left I take to the food banks so that people can have fresh grown vegetables, so it all works out.
