I was whipping along updating my journal, and after I submitted an entry, I got this message:
The Entry is Added!
Database error: Invalid SQL: select catid, status, entry_name from gj_main where rid =
MySQL Error: 1064 (You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 1)
Session halted.
What does this mean Dave? (journal bug)
Wow, that's rare. It's definitely a bug on my site, and I'll look right into it.
Hmm I can't replicate the error. What exactly were you doing? Which item were you updating? What specifically did you click on? Was this an isolated event, or does it happen now every time you try to make an update?
I don't remember for sure which hosta I was putting in when this happened, but it I'm thinking it was Big Mama. I was adding all my hostas to my journal, so it was one of them. I went into add an item to this category, put in all the information, clicked on submit, and that is when I got this message. It said the item was updated, but it wasn't. I had to go in and add it again. This is the first time I've gotten this message, and I kept on adding my hostas after that, and it never happened again. I'm sorry, I know this isn't very specific information.
I'm not completely clear on what happened.
Were you actually adding an entirely new item?
Or, were you adding an update to an existing item.
Or, were you editing an item?
Dave
I was adding an entry to to an item. I went into the Hosta Category, then chose to view a hosta I had put in previously, then from there, I chose add an entry to this item. After I did my entry, I clicked on submit, and got this message.
Understood. I'll be looking into this.
