Met the Calalily family today!

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Susie, Lauren, Bill and Wally came to visit today. It was a wonderful afternoon. She brought me all kinds of goodies (that I love). They are such a nice family. I already knew Susie and Lauren had a place in my heart but Bill is so nice too. I felt right at home with them. They are so nice and fun to be around.I didn't want them to leave. Hope we have another visit again soon.

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

You do meet the nicest people Peggy don't you!! How lucky you are!! Perhaps one day......... :-)

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

Peggy, they are the nicest bunch. I enjoyed meeting them all also. How far away do you live from them?

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Margaret thats going to happen someday you wait and see. You are on my have to meet list.lol Yes I do meet nice people I love everybody I have ever got to meet from DG.

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

Well I hope it won't be too long a wait then Peggy!! :-)

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Lisa depending on who you ask Lauren or Cala it took them about 3 or 3 1/2 hours. So I think we will be seeing more of each other. (I hope)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

It was 215 miles. We made it home in 3.5 hrs. Peggy had lunch ready when we arrived. She is a great cook!! She has a beautiful house and gardens and had a nice collection of antique plates. Lauren and Heather hit it off right from the start. Heather is a sweet, polite young lady and Bill said Lauren should strive to be like her!!
Mystic has this neat bench in her green house that has heat cables in sand!! I want one!!
It was a great visit, not as far away as I thought. It felt like we'd known each other forever, but that's how gardeners are!!

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

Well, now I can't wait to meet you either Cala. When's it my turn? LOL

I have to agree with you on Heather. She is the most polite and sweetest teenager I have ever met. Peggy, you have a daughter to be very proud of!!!!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Peggy, I will go ahead and email you the photos Bill took. I knew he didn't hold still enough!! They are so blurry, I can't even recognize our faces. I won't let Bill take the photos anymore, it will be Wally's job. BTW, he has been punny today, don't know what's wrong. His nose is warm and he won't eat much. If he's not better tomorrow, he goes to the doc.(a real doc, not Dr. Lily)

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Oh Susie darn it maybe we should have let Wally take them. lol I hope he is feeling better. He sure is a pretty dog. Let me know how he is doing.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Mystic, he's back to feeling fine this morning. He stole a sock and house shoe(he loves my fuzzy house shoes)and ran thru the house shaking it. He went outside and ran all around and went with me to take Lauren to school. He must have had a tummy ache or something from all the junk he mooches!! He didn't want to sleep on my feet last night, but seems to be fine today.

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

It's always nice when you share this info about your husband Wally. Ya'll have a wonderful marriage! (couldn't resist...folks, I always forget which one is which.) (How she had managed to train her DH so well always stymies me!)

Greenfield, IN(Zone 5b)

LOL, horseshoe!

Middle, TN(Zone 6b)

That big puppy sleeps on your feet????? Doesn't it put your feet to sleep? It would mine.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Elena, he sneaks in after we are all asleep and just plops down. Before he goes to sleep, he goes around and collects every sock he can find and piles them up in the living room. If I could just teach him to sort the laundry.
Shoe, I owe you one!!

Crossville, TN

Oh....I wish I had been there!!! Glad Deputy Wally Fife is back to his normal self! By the time we get to the Round up, lot's of us will already know each other!!! Shoe, now you just apoligize to BILL and WALLY! Jo

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Ohhhh..."I sorry...".
However, I betcha either Bill or Wally is smiling about this! ;>)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)
