They just won their first ever Gold medal in Winter Olympics. Womens short track speed skating, it was a great race!!!!

Darn I missed it - that's really fantastic!!! I don't like ice hockey and so I walk away when it's on - thereby missing what I consider to be 'the good stuff'!! It must have been really exciting to watch!!

Yes, I Love the Olympics, but Hubby drives me crazy with some of it, especially that Curling Sport, I do not like. Does anyone on here like that sport? So I get up and quit watching and miss some of what I wanted to see. Hurrah, It is always great to see people accomplish something wonderful!!! Also, I am very proud that they gave the Canadian's a GOLD! SALE and PETTELIER(sp. I think that is it) Not wanting to start a controversy or anything but I feel they won hands down. I was playing w/my Hubby kinda Poking fun at my Father, who has this problem thinking other sports are rigged (not the Olynpics)
and I made the comment "If they do not win the Figure Skating this is rigged" and so , Guess What!) And I say, Definitely Fire The Judge from France!!! Cheater!

I had never heard of Curling until my daughter called me into her room a couple of nights ago while she was watching TV and asked me what they were doing. I watched it for awhile with her, and I think I kind of get the gist of it.

My opinion of Curling? It's about as exciting as watching paint dry.
