memory of aunt margaret

Brooklet, GA(Zone 8a)

many of you remember when my aunt died on christmas morning. I received her rosary beads (prayer beads) today from my uncle. It was one of her few pocessions. she lived a simple life and gave all she had to everyone else buying very little for herself. my youngest daughter gave me a beautiful picture of the virgin mary with thebaby jesus for christmas. I have fixed these two things together as a memorial to my aunt. I feel as I finally have some closure. Remember she was creamated. no memorial service or anything. I have finally had my cry and excepted she is gone. she will truley be missed. when i get some batteries for my camera i will post a pic of this and the rose garden we have planted for her. I just want to say thank you to all of you who helped me thru this and gave me ideas of ways to remember her. you are all such good friends.

Dear sweet Janet what a tender and loving tribute to your Aunt Margaret. She must have loved and cherished the Rosary Beads so much and your Uncle couldn't have chosen anything more beautiful. That was so kind of him. I look forward to seeing your Memorial pictures and am so happy that this is going to bring closure to your pain and help you overcome your loss. Hugs from another Margaret :-)

I too will look forward to seeing the Memorial Pictures. What a sweet thing to do with her beloved rosary. Bless your uncle for his thoughtfulness.
I'm so happy that you are finding peace with all that's happened. Still keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Janet what a nice thing to do. I too have a memory garden.
My XDH was also cremated and they spread his ashes some 9hrs away from the boys and I. So Ive made a special blue garden to go to! My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Janet, I myself had several close family members pass this past year. The last one on Jan. 3, 2002. I know how it feels to not feel closure. My brother-in-law who I loved like my own brother passed away in March. I loved him so, and he and my sister lived in Alabama and we didn't see them quite as often as all my other siblings. So, everytime I start planning to go there, I first think of seeing him. He wabted me to have all of his things that he found while scuba diving in Belize and Peru. Live Coral, Spiney Oyster Shells, etc..which are all in my Aquarium. He was Polish and a very very smart man. He was the person I always called for advice on cooking or Gardening, etc... I am very Happy for you to have gotten such a sacred thing of your Aunt's and I know how it feels to not feel closure. I am so thankful for you to feel some closure now and so from now on when I pray for closure for myself and the deaths of my Grandpa, Brother-in-law, and my Great Uncle I'll also include you in my prayer. These people all passed this year and I'm so scared still for my Brother and my Grandma.
So, please include us in your prayers as well!

Thanks and God Bless You!
