I read Pebble's post about being so far away and not being able to come to the Round-Up. There are 11 members in Washington and 3 in Oregon. Would you all up there in the Pacific Northwest like to have a NW-round-up? I'll be up in Corvallis, OR for DS's wedding which is on June 15. Either Monday the 17th or Tuesday the 18th would be good for me. I'll be flying out of Portland on the 19th, probably.

Ha! I may be notorious, but I doubt I'm famous! I would love to meet you MaryE. I just checked on mapquest.com and your town is over 6 hours from Dan's town. Yikes! I may have to renege because my sisters (from Wisconsin) will want to go west to see the ocean (instead of east). We'll see, though.

I didnt realise we had so many members on the west coast, seems like 40% of our members are in florida/georgia/miss
and 40% in tennesse, and the rest scattered around.....
I would love to get together.

Granny, it will be a beautiful time that you will be here, I hope you will be able to see some of the famous gardens in Portland. The rose gardens, rhodedendrum gardens, japanese gardens, the new chinese gardens, oh and I dont want to forget the gardens in Vancouver (lol) the most notable one being in my backyard - yuck kyuck yuck kyuk....(not really of course)
I would love to take you around if you can spare the time...
If you cant come to portland, I would love to meet with you somewhere (over the rainbow...)
MaryE, what do you think?
I wonder if a couple of the vancouver BC people would like to come down? and there is one person in Kalama that would love to I'm sure, and others might want to make it an event.
