Dave’s is gardening friendship.

Montgomery Center, VT(Zone 3b)

Dave’s is a place of gardening friendship. I have only posted once or twice and I already know this to be true. I get so busy with things that time goes bye much faster than I realize. And then, I get a message from a gardener friend who asks where I have been lately and hopes all is well with me. “Please check in once in a while and chat for a bit.”

That e-mail from Shirley truly moved my heart and proves with out a doubt that my first impression of Dave’s was correct. I even wrote it on my web site’s link-page.

For all of you that may have wondered the same about me, I am fine. I will try to stop here more often.

Happy Gardening,

You all are too kind to me! But I will not complain :) I think eating my lunch and paying a visit to Dave's is a relaxing break in my work day. I will do this more often.

good, everyone takes a lunch, and now you have no excuses. Perhaps you can help go-vols out in the propagation forum? I know for certain you must have some tried and true techniques.

Montgomery Center, VT(Zone 3b)

TiG, The propagation forum? I can see I will also need to learn my way around Dave's. I am sure to find it and will help go-vals when I can. I bet go-vals will kick my a__ when it comes to those long latin names! :) LOL! I hope everyone is patient with me as it will take me time to remember your real names as you all use...well you know what I mean.

Happy gardening,

Hey no fair, you already know my name is Jerry!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

you don't have to learn my name Jerry, I actually love being called tiG. I've been in online forums for 3 or 4 years now, and I really prefer it to my real name. :) (which is Bonnie btw, but you really didn't need to know that!! LOL) I spent 3 weeks up north with an online friend and when her DH called my name, she didn't know who he was talking about!!!

Byron, IL(Zone 4a)

Yes indeed Jerry do come back more often. I am a newby at this and your article was truly an inspiration. Looking forward to reading more about your endevors.

I don't think I've ever met a bunch of nicer more genrous people than here at DG.
All of you are great.

MummyOF4dolls, and Paul,
I have found that gardeners in general are kind people. However, DG has the cream of the crop.

I do know a lot about things I have grown and very little about things I have not. I am sure I will learn much from the DG family of gardeners.

Hi Jerry...I can't say enough good things about DG and all the people here...As you may know, I lost my DH, Carl, On Dec. 21st....the out pouring of love and prayers from this group was UNBELIEVABLE!!! Jo

Yes, DG is very much a lifeline for many of us!!
