When I put in plant photos from other internet sources that allow this but require proper credit, you automatically put a copyright notice on the image.. Is there any way to put in an option that would allow us to post the proper copyright notice or do what is done now for our own photos? I suppose I could put in a link to the image rather than the image itself, but isn't this bandwidth theft that you have discussed previously?

Interesting problem... The Plants Database was designed for original pictures, and I never considered that one day we may have some pictures that are used with permission (or public domain pictures).

Having a checkbox option to simply not add the copyright message seems the proper solution to this problem. It'll take a little while, but it'll happen. Good find!
