Help: Unable to View Images/Pictures

Hello...I'm a new member and am attempting to set up my preferences. I was going to upload my picture on my homepage. All went well until I went to view it. All I see is a box w/ a red "x" in it. I then went to the data base and noticed the same thing when trying to see plant pix. Is there something I need to change/set on my browser or in windows. Currently using Win98 SE and IE 6.5.

Maybe it has something to do with the security level you have set. Perhaps not accepting some cookies?

Are you very familiar with the configurable preferences of your browser?

My guess is, you don't have "referers" enabled. (They may be called something else in IE). You -must- have referers enabled, or no photos will appear for you on DG.

Check that, and let me know what you found!

Thanks Shirley, that would explain it. Many of those security software items will, indeed, remove the referer field from a browser.
