300+ members and growing

Well, we signed up our 300th member today. We now have 301 members, and are growing strong.

Congrats everyone for helping build our friendly watering-hole for gardeners!

Congradulations! I put the address in every message I post on other boards. I hope it helps! And I put a link on my web site, too.

Sharon

It does help indeed. People like yourself who enjoy the site and want to enjoy it more by growing the membership are the reason why the site exists.

We grow by telling each other about the site. What a great membership we have!

Congratulations!

I am happy that people post the address in other webpage forums because that is how I found here!
I saw the link to this page noted in The Garden Web.

I am here to stay and am looking forward to seeing all the great sounding additions that you are going to add Dave!

Well, only 4 days has past and we're now up to 331 members!! I wonder where all these people are coming from.

They must be hearing about the friendliest group of gardeners in the world.

New member here... There is another large gardening website that is losing a lot of members because of the Web Master there, and we're all floating around homeless looking for another great gardening community... so I'm happy to be here!

What a great find! Keep up the good work Dave - this new gardener was happy to find your website via gardenweb. I just joined this week and look forward to a happier place to chat and exchange seeds, plants, and info.

Grits

Just an aside here... it's been less than a week since I announced we had 300 members. In the week since then, our membership has grown by another 99 members. This means that almost 1/4 of all of our members have signed up in the past 7 days!

Dave

Must be 400 by now Dave. How are you planning to celebrate when it's 500 next week?

What else can I say Dave but..keep up the great work and positive attitude! I am a new member here. Yes, recently banned from Gardenweb because I wrote my opinion to Spikes post when he asked for opinions. He didn't like the truth slapping him in the face. And, he banned my whole ISP from the Gardenweb! I guess he's not one for constructive criticism. Well, I don't see your site as second choice. I see it as a new beginning where I can share my love of gardening with good people like myself and not be cast out on a whim. I've peeked in a few times here before and all of your changes are wonderful. I especially like that you are receptive to the ideas of everyone here. I have traded seeds with many people here already and they are good, honest people. I will link your site as a signature to my private and business emails (do I have to say I tore the Gardenweb bumper sticker off of my car?..lol). Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome to my new home :)

Just found this website via a friend and love it - thank you. Was getting tired of the other (GW). Am looking forward to sharing ideas, plants, seeds, etc. and most of all making new gardening friends.
