When there is lot of postings on certain forums I find myself sitting waiting on the computer to load the information. I know on some of the heavier postings a new posting is created and a hyperlink created for the old posting. My question is could it be set up that after a certain number of postings, 15 sounds like a good number, the system automatically creates a hyperlink and starts new postings. That would speed up the computers and create more time for the visit to Dave's. Would really be helpful to the ones on a certain time constraint from the isp that serves them. Dave????
? LONG FORUMS
That's a good idea, Jim. It would depend on how verbose each of the posts to the thread was, too. Maybe a default of so many total characters (though I think we're all total characters, LOL) would make sense?

Some other forum sites do this automatically, and it's a good idea for DG to do it, as well. It'll take a bit of work, but I'll take care of this.
I'm also moving this thread to my forum so I won't forget about it.
Dave
