typeing NOT

I would like to partisipate in the chat room but can not type, any fast or easy learning online help would be a help. Took me two min. to do this not because of my typeing but because of my wife, seems She can,t keep her hands off. lol jack

LOL welcome to my world, I can't type either nor spell lol, but I still try. I wouldn't last a minute in the chat room, I know that they would want to give me the boot. I love the part about your wife not being able to keep her hands off.

I cant type either and go into the chat room when i can. I'm a 2 finger typer but use my right finger most of the time. the good thing about chat room is spelling doesnt come into it nor does speed of reply. you dont have to use proper grammar either.

you can tell from mt posts on DG that I very rarely use capitals.

my sister got my mother a software program that "types" as she speaks. I don't think she has it installed yet, but it sounds nifty. I think it was around $50.

darius now that would be a well invested $50. I took a typing course at a Technical college here a couple of years a go but if you don't type a lot to keep in practice it doesn't help. I find it hard to chat also. Maybe a chat room for us non typers would be an idea.

LOL Jim, ya know the other chat room set up by Flowox is MUCH easier to handle, because there usually isn't that many people in there all at one time. Most of the time there are only about 3 or 4 in there and when they talk to you...they wait for you to type your message before moving on. I find it more fun because I can keep up with the flow of conversation. you should try it sometime...it's fun!!
As for the chat here on Dave's, well there is usually tooo many people in there and unless you jump right in you get left behind. so therefore I find myself doing alot of lurking instead of chatting.

I know I can't type very fast either I've only been in the chat room once thanks MOLLYBEE for the info about Flowox's chat room she emailed me about it but didn't think I could keep up!

O but Morningglory, I really do think you should try Flowox's chat, because it is soooooooo much easier and slower than the one here on DG..Trust me you'd like it if you just went in and gave it a try. In fact, sometimes there is only 2 people maybe 3 and if 2 of you start talking, the 3rd person kinda sits back a second and let's the 2 of you talk, then maybe jump in and say something. But I think you would really like it, and it would give you the chance to get to know some of the folks here alittle better....I know it has helped me learn alot about my friends here!

Sorry to hear that Molly. Me also. Taking forever to do anything. I've tried loading a photo about 5 times and finally gave up.

I find that flowox's chat is easy also.I use only my index fingers.just keep the message short, and while they are answering you,you can be typing something else. you will get the feel of it quickly.I find that no one stays on very long at a time.when you type it out, you can enter it at any time,while others have posted thiers.

i kan tipe ok butt wood be lozt wiffout spelcheker witch i ofton fail to use when i am felling 2 poopped. i allways hop folkz wil understand and not think i am a dum doop. i see lotz if typoos EVERY WHERE even on bizness web sights and thay dont brother me as long az i can git the general jest of whut some 1 is saying. i have tryed sum chat rooms and many people speak a totaly weerd dialect that i kant follo. chatlanguage seems to thrive on abreviations and slang and symballs so maybe speling and typing skils jus' don matter no more....other peeps typoes dont bodder me like mine own do....!!! although i have noted that when people are disgreeing with each other, the verbal "slap" of and "you spell like a fool" seems to be a way of shutting someone down....!!!!i do really try to keep my spelling in order, for the sake of my kids but when i am tired i make lots of errors and just hope kind souls won't care....
