Panhandle swap-new thread

Altamonte Springs, FL(Zone 9a)

tiG.....hybrid seedlings capture my attention:)

This swap meet is going to be so cool!!!!! You never know..one day it might become a national event!!! I have some other plants I can take cuttings from....the epiphyllums could donate some cuttings, and I have a cane begonia......maybe some blue walking iris......buddlea butterfly bushes....now I have to start cutting, potting and rooting

Do you think we could get a group rate for uhauls????? we'll all need them to get back home :)

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Sharbot,bring the epies.We can trade!
And Tim bring plenty of Passifloras.I see a couple of new obsessions developing.

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

tiG,

I think hybrid seedlings would be neat.

I also have gloriosa lily. Mine are just the tubers, as I haven't planted them yet. You have to dig them up here or they won't come back, at least for me they don't.

How about canna's? I have a couple of different kinds (don't know what kind they are as they came from my grandmother's house. I do have a couple of tropicana though. Also a couple of amaryllis belladonna bulbs. What about confederate rose cuttings and morning glory tree? Do we want to make a list or just bring whatever you think? Dee

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I can bring bengal tiger cannas if there is a need. Wouldn't want to bring them if no one wants any, I'm hitching a ride.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I have a few Tropicana cannas too, and some dwarf salmon ones. I have a few violet stem taros and some Lucifer crocosmia.

tiG,
I have some of the gloriosa lilys seeds.....I think. Just got back from the court house they decided after 5 hours they didn't want me for jury duty...wasn't that sweet of them?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

cala, save me one of those violet stems!! Gloria, at this time of night??????? that's ridiculous!

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

thats crazy gloria.
all i think i have right now are huge crinum lily bulbs and spider lilys.
got bunches of frosty pinks, anyone interested? how about some marigolds?
i can see now i really need to get on the ball and find some stuff.

I want most all of it! What am I gonna do? Yes, to gloriosa, yes to crocosmia, yes to ferns, what is a bengal tiger canna, I probably want that too! You guys probably have everything I've got, most of mine is pretty common I think. Anybody want a red turks cap (hoping it will come back to life by then, looks rough right now.) You guys realize this may turn into a brawl if we start fighting over limited amounts of something. I have a small rooted confederate rose, nandinas, monkey grass, walking iris, I don't know what else, just have to dig around.

I really didn't mind to much as long as they let me go. LOL
I did how ever miss Azelea...she and DH are here in Biloxi at the Beau tonight....I thought about paging her but I don't even know her name. LOL

Jen,
I will be bring lots of stuff.....I'll be more then happy to share with you.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

tiG,
You forgot the link. LOL

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I know !!! I fixed it, I do that all the time!

Is it time to start a new plant swap thread...this one is getting kinda long and slow.

Paxton, FL(Zone 8a)

We've got two months to talk about this, maybe it needs to slow a little bit, then pick back up strong a few weeks before time to meet. We all got excited and now we have to wait.

MSJen--the frosty pinks and crinum lily bulbs sound interesting to me!

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

Oh tiG, now I want a Bengal Tiger too. Dee

Paxton, FL(Zone 8a)

Yep, I like that foliage. I have a canna that has a bloom that color, but the foliage is just green. I like that varigated leaf.
