Dave how about.. seed starting forum

a forum for growing from seeds. I for one as a newby could sure use more info such as a good (cheap) seed starting soil among other thing. This could include both under lights & winter sowing which we will do some of both.
Just a thought :)

Seed starting really falls under propogation, doesn't it? That forum covers all manner of starting plants - seed, cuttings, budding, etc. :o)

Yes, Ithink that's covered in the Propagation forum. The description of that forums says:

"Learn the best way to produce new plants through discussions on growing from seed, cuttings, grafting, and other propagation techniques."

Looking through that forum, I see there are lots of threads already about starting seeds. Does that work, Sugar_FL?

Hi Dave,
I guess I didn't look at it close enough. I think of Propagation more like rooting, grafting & such. Looking at it I don't see some of my questions so guess I'll ask them :)
Hopefuly as planting time comes on more will be discussed.

Believe me, there'll be lots of discussion! Last year, around April or so, there was a lot of talk about seed starting. It'll pick up more once it gets to that season for more folks. :)
