Cape May Court House, NJ(Zone 7a)

Afraid of what eyes???? Telling one's age???? I must say it's not my age that really bothers me. It's my oldest son's! When ever he has a birthday I just about die. I can't believe he's getting old!!!!!!!!

Hamburg/Pinnebog, MI(Zone 6a)

In 2 weeks I'll be 50, Hope I don't go into depression over it. But I born in dirt and raised by the broom handle and my "bod" is a thing of splendor. LOL!!!!!

Cullman, AL(Zone 7a)

I'm pushing 57. I'm a silver haired "pleasingly plump Nanny" of four. I'm happiest when I am in the garden or playing with one of the young ones!

Lorain, OH(Zone 5b)

I'm 29 and 76 months, no kids = no gray hair, no wrinkles

(Zone 5a)

I'll be 29 again in August and don't plan on getting any older lol.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I celebrated the 13th aniversary of my 29th birthday!! I don't have any gray, Ms Clairol is really good to get rid of it, and if I wear sunglasses you can't see my wrinkles. (I can't see either, lol)

Bonifay, FL(Zone 8a)

I have been 40 for the past 29 years

Hey I'm starting to get worried here. Is 29 some sort of cut off date for birthdays? ;)

Harford County, MD(Zone 6b)

Hey Eyes, I'm game...62 here, and I guess one good thing about getting there is social security starts.LOL.Lots of gray hair (which I used to pay a fortune for frosting, to look like this) and several pounds more than I need to be.However, I really don't feel that old.

Nanaimo, BC(Zone 8b)

46 livin like 20

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I like how Cala put it best. So I'll follow her example and say I'm close to celebrating the 10th anniversary of my 29th birthday. And thanks to L'Oreal, Clairol, et al most of my gray hairs (each of which can be traced back to something my kids have done) stay undercover.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I like prains answer, cause it fits me to a tee.

(Zone 5a)

LOL Greenwood, I like that answer.

Yea Baa and you started it lol.

Cala and go_vols that was pretty sneaky, now Cala just when where you 29? Go_vols same quesion,or will it be this year when I turn 29 lol.

Blum, TX(Zone 8a)

I just turned 58 and I feel lucky to have crammed so much into my life.I wish I knew then what I've learned thus far.I have several silver hairs and I've earned every one of them! I have now out-lived my father. He passed in "75" at age 56.I am content with my life, and have accepted that no-one leads a perfect life. we all have our ups and downs. It's how we deal with them that strenghtens us.

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

No, I'm not afraid. I'm 41. Some days though, I feel older, and once in a while I feel younger, but those days are getting more rare all the time. LOL! Once I get my less fat body back, I'm looking forward to feeling younger more. LOL!

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Aw, shucks, I think I have become a bore with telling my age, since we tried to determine a few months back who was oldest and youngest. I'm neither, and I don't even have my usual distinction of having the most kids. But at 62, I might be the youngest great grandmother of two. Didn't know about the color of my hair, which I had colored for many years, until chemo took it and replaced it with some ugly whitish stuff last year. Now I'm trying to figure out what color of Nice'n Easy will get me back to my "natural" color. I've given up on the weight, it is determined to be what it is, and I've been told not to diet for fear of being susceptible to the big C. Those are absolutely not wrinkles, though, they are mirth tracks.

Nanaimo, BC(Zone 8b)

My Great Grandmother once told me as she played some beatle song on her piano, that it is he who has the most fun that wins in the end. She lived to be 92 and I can only hope to come close. So yes you are as young as you feel and it helps you to try and feel young. Having a child at 44 seems to be an incouragement for sure PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME, not for everyone i,m sure. lol jack

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Eyes I am 43 and yes I have gray. Started out coloring it and heck it got to be a hassel. I feel I have earned everyone of those gray hairs so I stopped coloring it. Got the the stuff here to do it with but just decided it was time I stopped fighting getting older. lol My 30th birthday about killed me the rest have been a breeze.I don't know what the age is that you start feeling BD's are not important but just another day but this year my son turned 22 and he said heck its just another day and I feel like I am getting old... Old at 22 geez I guess I really am ancient. lol

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Nope not afraid to say that I am 35!

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

While dreaming last night I was 25 and felt wonderful! Then this morning I woke up and lay there feeling like a healthy and content 35 year old. When I got out of bed and stretched and heard my bones moan I felt about 50 and after being at work for 8 hours I swear I was 60. By the time dinner was done and the dishes put away I felt 80 and now with my teeth soaking in a glass and my favorite slippers on my aching feet and smelling of ben gay and sipping prune juice I guess I must be about 110....but come my dreams tonight I'll be 25 again! Yep, I guess you are as old as you feel cause just last week I was playing hide and seek with a friends grand daughter and I was about ten then!

I am 36 :) , Yes I to agree 30 was a hard one! Sometimes I feel older but there are still alot of times I feel younger. My kids add to my grey hair on a daily basis, But Loreal does work wonders! It's hard to believe my oldest child is now 18. My hubby is 28 so he helps keep me feeling young :)

Cape May Court House, NJ(Zone 7a)

I know I posted before but I never did say my age! Like Mystic I am 43, and like midwestsnowbird I married a youger man (the second time) he is 35! Yes I have some grey hair but I don't color it cause it takes too much time that I just don't have! So now you know the truth and I am glad I said it and NO I AM NOT AFRAID to say my age!!!!!

Panama, NY(Zone 5a)

Well, I'll be 50 this year. As for my hair, what isn't brown is white, I don't mind the wrinkles, but I'd appreciate it if whoever stuck me with this extra chin would take it back!! I've been hard on my body and it's not letting me forget that I am NOT 6'4" and muscular, but only 5'1" and a bit flabby around the edges. Trying to keep up with someone who's more than a foot taller and male besides isn't recommended, especially if he's a workaholic dairy farmer! My oldest DD will be 30 next month - which my MOTHER really resents! But I love being a grandmother and as long as I keep moving, I'll keep moving.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Oh My God...This is weird ruby 42,I too just turned 43 and the man I married a year and a half ago is 35,and the grey hair, you can't tell,I frost it and it blends right in....

Newcastle, ON(Zone 5a)

I'm not afraid..I'm 57..and a Nana of 6. I think playing with the grandkids keeps a person young.

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

Well most of us have declared that we are grandmothers, so that more or less gave the game away! I have grey hair, still have some of my dark left, I'm wrinkled but my photos are kind to me and so is the HRT!! My body hurts, most of the time and if it's not one thing it's another!! I wake up stiff in the morning but thankful that my brain is still working. I still have most of my teeth, but that could be questionable!! I have three cats who are 14 years old so I guess they are older than me in cat years - about 76 I think!! I am 60 years old, soon to be having a birthday!! I have two children and three grandchildren and another in July!! I have a zany sense of humour because I'm an Aquarian and because of this, I will never grow up!!!!

Baltimore, MD(Zone 6a)

Age?? Me, old?? *checks birth certificate*

Says 28 but many would argue for just dropping the 2 :)

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Louisa....No way......I saw your photo, there is no way you can be approaching 60....... wow!
I am 42, and I loved Zanymuse's way of putting things in perspective.

Harrisburg, NC(Zone 7a)

Who's afraid? I am with Zanymuse, it depends on the time of day! I will be 50 later this month. Some days are better than others and I feel like 16, then there are the OTHER days which I won't mention. And I like my gray hair! Found my first one when I was 19, so I am used to them.
My DD turned 30 last month, that is when I started feeling like I am getting old. No grandkids however, DD refuses to get married or have kids. She does have a good excuse, just graduated from Tulane law school and now is back in NC to do all the final classes before taking the bar exam. She says I have to settle for a grand dog!

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

It's not how old you are, it's how old you feel -
I'M NINE LOL

(or really 50 and 51 in March)!

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

Hm, I always felt that age is not important unless you are a cheese! I'm 51, going to be 52 Feb. 7th. I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. On second thought, I don't WANT to grow up, I'm having too much fun now. We dairy and hog farm, just me and the Spouse, so it pretty much keeps me in decent shape. Oh, I could stand to lost 10 pounds, I spose, but I guess I don't look too bad. Gray hairs??? You betcha, but my most favorite little sister the beautician takes care of 'em for me every month! And, as far as being 51, hey, its beats the alternative, and I'm sure not ready for eternal sleep just yet!! :>)

Anna Z.

Hamburg/Pinnebog, MI(Zone 6a)

I hear a quote/question one time that fits this thread to a T.

How old would you be if you didn't know how old you were?

Victoria, TX(Zone 9b)

I'm not scared.

:) I'm a bouncing, energetic, 23 years old.
