I hope it changes on its own, but my homepage is stuck. Preference are always the same and one watched thread is always listed. I click on a forum and then go back to the homepage and it is the same. However when I do visit a forum, things have changed in there, just not up front. Can you help me please? It has been this way for several hours now.

That's two questions...

The first one: I'm not sure why that's happening. Is the time at the top of the page not changing as well? Perhaps you are looking at a "cached" copy of the homepage?

If you go to the homepage, and actually click the Reload button of your web browser, does that solve the problem?

Regarding the second question: the slowness... Yes, the site has been extremely slow today, and I'm aware of it. The reason is that Google is indexing the site today (this occurs once a month or so) and so far they have downloaded over 40,000 pages on DG in the past 24 hours. This is causing a higher load than usual. I regret the slowdown, and I'm adjusting where I can to try to speed things up a little bit.

The indexing should be over by tonight, and tomorrow DG should be back to its normal speed.

When I connected tonight and came to the site, it is working okay. I figured that once I posted about my problem it would fix itself. :-)
