Birthday listings?

Dave... How about a list posted daily under the DG logo of "today's birthdays"? (Did we post a birthdate when we signed up?)

For those of you who are in the address exchange, you should have all of those birthdays, as far as when we signed up, I don't think it asked me for mine

I don't think we are asked for birthdays when we sign up, but it'd be nice if we could add the month and day (no year, please!!!) in our personal info, and have it display along with our other information. And yeah, a daily birthday posting would be a nice touch - maybe list the birthday boys and girls in the newsletter???? How 'bout it, fearless webmaster (and birthday boy) Dave?

Yep, I wrote the code for this feature quite some time ago, but never did launch it. I'll dive back in tomorrow or else the next day, test it, and integrate it into the site. It'll be fun! :)

It's done, so go to your Preferences, click "Birthday", and enter it in!

I didn't have to go anywhere. When I came on earlier, I had a very polite message that asked for my birthday. :) Dave is the man!!!

I just got some very nice Birthday wishes that made my day!

Dave is too cool for jumping on things when asked for them.

Dave, I went to Preferences but "Birthday" did not come up in my list? Did I miss the day for entering my birthday?

gardendragon, try the blue links in the left-hand sidebar when you go to your preferences page. (I almost overlooked it when I checked the preferences page, but there's one for birthday in that list now ;0)
