Everytime I come to Dave's and see a posting from you I think the little seed has popped out. So far I've been disappointed. I saw your name under the photo forum and thought she has a picture already. LOL
Badseed
Jim, not until January!!!!
I see that my personal cheerleader and birthing coach has beat me to the reply. LOL The first due date they gave me was the end of January, then they bumped it back to January 17th. If this one goes like the other four, she won't be here until February 6th or thereabout. As nice as it would be to get the tax break, I doubt that she will make her arrival until at least January. People tell me everday how low my belly is, how big my belly is, ask if it could be twins and tell me there is no way I can go another month. LOL I go next week for my 36 week checkup. I will be thrilled to keep her where she is until after Christmas. After that, any time is fine with me. :) Like I get a choice. It is nice to know you are thinking about me and I apologize for the false alarms. LOL You can bet that I will post a picture as soon as she arrives.
She is going to wait until my birthday, Jan. 19! Will be looking forward to that picture. Take care of yourslf and that belly, I mean baby! LOL!
Darlene
Sorry peapod - didn't mean to steal your thunder - just thought you were almost running on empty!!
As long as she doesn't go into Labor when she's at my house we'll be fine.......LOL
Hey........maybe I could be the godmother if that happens......I always wanted to be someone's godmother........that would be so much fun :o)
Can I be someone's baby's godmother? :o(

Susan I agree !!!! lol Her or Pam either. You did say Pam was coming too right? Michele is going to wait and have it on Jan 29th my DD's birthday.lol
yeah, Pam is coming too........maybe she'll wait and have it on the 31st......LOL.......my DS birthday
Now Louisa, you didn't steal any thunder. LOL I am out of gas and steam and about everything but belly, babies, kids and lists of things to do! Now I am sick too. Bleck! I am glad you answered and bumped the post up. Otherwise I might not have seen it, it was way at the bottom. :) You know I love you better than a mother and am glad you stepped up to answer for me.
As for the rest of you, I cannot squat and drop on command and am not taking orders! LOL I figure she will be here when she says so, or I hold still long enough. :)
My hubby has put his order in for the 5th of February. It was his father's birthday. I am sorry to never have met him.
Today was the final day of sales where I work and nothing is left but loading trucks next week and our Christmas party tomorrow. I think I am glad to see my unemployment just around the corner. I am eager to clean up the house, get things organized and hopefully get bedrooms painted.
Besides my family here at home, you all will be the first to know. I will be in and out of that hospital so quick you won't believe it (if things go like normal), then I will drive you nuts with family pictures. ha ha ha You'll be sorry you asked.
Well this prego is going to stuff down a bowl of stew and head back out. I only have a few more gifts to pick up and I am calling it quits.
Love to all,
the Seed :)
Badseed, is it okay for you to paint bedrooms in "your condition"? I worry about things like that.
Badseed... basing from personal observation, as i have 3 children of my own. 1st born are always one week delayed in coming. 2nd born are 1 week advance. the 3rd one is more or less 2-3 weeks advance in coming to this world. i could be wrong, but this is based on the children i brought into this world. any one have observation on how their children were born???
MaVie, Thank you for including your personal observations. I love to compare notes. I think my personal 'problem' with my children being 'late' is due to medical mathematics. LOL They take off weeks and add on months, or take off months and add on weeks to get your due date, including two 'non-pregnant' weeks. By medical standards, this causes all my children to be 'two weeks late'. I simply count forty weeks from the day I know I conceived. All four of my other kids came within a day or two of the dates I had chosen, yet two weeks past the medical due date. Who knows with this one? LOL The old body isn't what it used to be.
well, all depends also on info we provide to the doctor about our personal cycle each month. i did take note of my monthly cycle as i didn't want surprises ;)!
i do not think ur old body is totally different as yet!!! wait when u get to later 50ish. believe me there are lots of differences by then. normal things, one normally does is so much different, one often wonders "What happened?"
HAH! "Squat and drop"! Love that one Badseed! But if anyone could do it you'd be the first to master it, eh? You are too funny!
As for me, I'm a-thinkin it will come on MY birthday (25th), you need a good Aquarian in your family!
hey Shoe, there is one in the family already! this is ONE big family away from home ;)! Happy Birthday, in case i miss it.
I knew there was something I recognized about Shoe - we are both Aquarians and so is Sis...lol!! Peapod, I just hope that when you squat and drop it will be in the right place!!!
hah!! Louisa, you saying Badseed needs to aim real good, eh? Drop it where X marks the spot?
(BS, hope you are taking this merrily, no offense meant!)
By the way, to take full advantage of this thread, I have a good question. Friends of mine just had their first on the 19th...I sure wish I could come up with a really good baby gift other than "the usual"...since Bs is going on number 4 now (or is it number 5?), she oughta be able to recommend some good potential gifts (I've already volunteered to provide a 'heat-it-up' supper, and running errands). As for me I just can't remember what a good useful present would be tho. Can ya'll chip in and help out?
Beginning to sound like the episode of the Walton's where Jim Bob started the pool at Godsey's store about when Mary Ellen would have her baby. Yes, we're Walton's fans.
G'night, John Boy.
Alright now Shoe, you are going to have to keep up. LOL The last one was number four, so that makes this one number five. All girls, no boys, we don't make those here. :)
A good safe gift is always an outfit, never smaller than the 3-6 month size. Newborn outfits just don't last long enough. Favorites for me are 'sweetpea' jammies-big long t-shirt nighties with long sleeves. I love terry cloth sleepers too-just like holding a teddy bear. :) One can never have enough onesie t-shirts! Wanna be practical? Diapers and wipies. LOL Another good gift is gift certificates for Blockbuster and micro popcorn. LOL I don't know about everybody, but I like to stay home with my little ones. :) I just remembered this posting from the Mom's forum (like YOU would visit there) http://davesgarden.com/showthread/116778.html Maybe that will give you more ideas.
