I found this vine overwhelming a Maple tree in zip code 13905, Binghamton NY. A search for images of a "vine with individual pink berries" was not successful. The "berries" look more like seed pods.
Anyone familiar with this plant?
Thanks for looking.

The first pic I had to use my plant ID app & it said European spindle tree. The second pic right away I thought Chinese wisteria & my plant id app said the same. Wisteria would make sense because they are extremely invasive & can get massive & take over the universe but they don’t have pink berries

Even more of a mystery, then! Although the "berries" look like seed pods without fruit. I'll look up the Wisteria, though. Thanks for the links.

The seed pods and the leaves do resemble the European Spindle Tree. ... but it's not a tree. You can see the perfect circle the vine made in the second picture. It must have been wrapped around something which later disappeared.
