i have thrown the seed i found for these for 3 years or so and have these guys growing. they are real tough and can live on their own in west texas zone 7b. in fall they have flying seeds like a dandelion. i wonder what they are. and i don't get here often but if you want seeds i can save you some. i also have the small flowering native sunflower. and a lot of stuff. i sell some cane cholla plants and cuttings on ebay.
