It feel like spring here, but I know we will probably get some more cold weather.

Turning colder here, we have a week of 40's coming with colder nights. So tired of the cold but as long as we don't have any ice

Hope you and Linda are doing OK. We are still have warm days here. I started more seedlings of mgs. Still no blooms on my inside blooms.

We are expecting snow tonight. Our high today was 34. Then back up to.60 Thursday.
Crazy weather.

Helena, I bet you'll start getting more buds soon on your insider vines Some mg's though seem to bloom much faster than others.
Linda, that's crazy weather for sure. Although we were having some warm temps in between some much colder days, doesn't make any sense

We haven't had any snow yet. It's only 17 degrees this morning and now they are saying icy roads are expected. Don't think I will go anywhere today.

Linda, if you don't have to get out, stay home so you don't risk getting hurt or damaging your car. Hope your temps warm up soon and that you don't get any ice.
Spring will finally get here but this is some crazy weather we've been experiencing.

It's all of 18 degrees now. Roads are icy in spots. I'm not going anywhere.

I feel so sorry for any homeless people out in this and any animals too

I do too. My daughter in law and I have made and donated 2 dozen quilts for the homeless. Still making more as needed.

Linda, thank you and your d-i-l for helping the homeless. Quilt making is something I never learned to do, wish I had. My mother made beautiful quilts.

Linda, I wish everyone felt that way but I realize not everyone is in a position to help.
We might have an icy mix Tues. I hope not since I need to be able to get out and feed the abandoned animals that depend on me. Not to mention the bitter cold that's also coming along with this winter mix. Hurry up Spring

We had about 2 inches of snow yesterday and today. Still cold tomorrow.

Linda, maybe the same system that you have already experienced coming our way.
I wish that we could just get the snow but pretty sure we'll get ice

Spring can't get here fast enough.

Just 4 days after this sleet/freezing rain and snow comes thru, the temps will reach 60 degrees or more
truly crazy weather.

# 4 is one of my Plumeria's
# 5 is pandy growing up the power line

No, still no blooms for me. I'm very disappointed in this vines so as soon as it warms up they will be going outside.
I loved the leaves but without blooms I have a tangled mess.

Helena, sorry your new vines are being so slow to bloom for you. Seems like when
the leaves are showy, the blooms come slower.
I gave up any pretense of trying to untangle my vines last yr, just didn't have the time.

Thanks Jackie, eventually they will bloom. Being patient and just going to wait.

Yes, just have to be patient. I bet you will see blooms in the next
2 or 3 weeks.

So far behind here.

Been busy too, on nice warm mid morning I try to do things outside. Then I have to rest.

I'm hurt girls. took a nasty fall Sat night late. My back is killing me, a compression or compound fracture. can't remember which. Pain meds can;t even touch the pain, so worried here. Can't believe I was so clumsy. Family having to help me feed the strays.

Linda, I pray that I won't need surgery, too soon to tell now.
They said it could take months to heal.,. I bet you it takes a lot longer. .I keep forgetting and picking up heavy things, I;ve got to stop doing that or I could make'the break worse.

So sorry to hear about your fall Jackie. I hope you take it easy and give yourself time to heal. I'll be praying for you.

It's so hard to tell ourselves to slow down and listen to doctors orders.
Getting old isn't easy. I will be 70 in June and it's getting harder every day to do things i used to do with ease.

that it's very hard for me to slow down. That's what caused my fall trying to go too fast
got my feet tangled so I went tumbling into the fridge, took a hard blow to my spine.smh.

To my surprise Igot one bloom on my tangled vines. Funny it bloomed facing inside instead of towards the window and sunlight. Still a little too cold to put these vines outside.
